My tracking period ends 29 Feb 2024. Is there any way I can somehow date SCs a few dates after they are flown, or is this really unfortunate timing for me?

No they'll always apply on date flown.

The only thing you can do is time the loyalty bonus (which the DSCs won't contribute to) to earn in the last three months of your year and activate in the next year (+50 SCs)

Cut’n paste from last years offer that came with “Sale” fares.

So can only hope some sales fare may drop before the 5 day window is over.

I’m actually all booked out for this calendar year (fortunately I’ll already secure WP of forward bookings - no more “Status Keeper”) Next member year is already off to a good start, so I’ll probably just book some opportunistic short CR trips in Jan/Feb. Edge closer to LTP at glacial pace…😂

Is this a targeted offer? I haven't received anything from Qantas today.

Perfect, as I have a couple of flights to book. By the 28th it will be. Should help nicely in my final part of my journey to LTG (400 short at the moment)

Now who would chose double points?

Someone who is LTG, but knows they'll never get LTP
Has made forward bookings for the next membership year that will requalify them to their chosen status level but have no hope of the next one

I fit this category. I probably won't make any bookings, but if I do, I'll probably go for double points.

Possibly not, I just signed in to the Qantas website, clicked on this link (For the Double Status Credits: https://www.qantas.com/au/en/freque...arded-registration-double-status-credits.html). Clicked on register and got the registration email with my correct details on it a few seconds later.

I am LTG and chose DSC, because I might be able to squeeze in some flights late in the promotion period that will retain WP status into 2025.

First DSC flights booked for me... managed to secure a 4 day trip to ZQN with the family in J that aligned to some very limited availability at a preferred hotel during late July / early August. J Saver outbound & J Flex inbound. Not cheap, but few are. No reasonable connections available. 350SCs each is the outcome on this one.

If you are subscribed for offers it will turn up eventually. The emails, like with most similar mass offers, tend to go out in batches.
Got it - I've now seen the web site has the offer prominently featured, and I was able to register successfully that way.

Hi all, I was wondering, if you book a flexi ticket and have to change the dates (but still within the promo window) do you still get status credits? Thanks.

My membership year is Apr-Mar so my bookings already qualify me to 2025.
I guess its also personal preference. I value SC's much more than points, mainly because my main use of points is for upgrades. I rarely use classic reward flights as I'm usually time constrained.

In the past this has been OK as long as the new dates are within the promotional window.
