I know what the T&Cs say re: vouchers, but is the general consensus that vouchers purchased during a DSC period can in fact be used for bookings made after the promotion period (for travel within the appropriate DSC window) and still receive DSC? Or is it very much a gamble? And for good measure booked another J class to Fiji for January 2024 plus a few vouchers
I'd say it's a gamble, but the first flight I booked maintains platinum, the second one gives me a kickstart with SC's and the vouchers for good measure - if they work or not I still will be flyingI know what the T&Cs say re: vouchers, but is the general consensus that vouchers purchased during a DSC period can in fact be used for bookings made after the promotion period (for travel within the appropriate DSC window) and still receive DSC? yes, source of booking doesn't matter as long as they're QF flights on QF metal that meet the eligibility requirements.Webjet flights provide SC right? I have an Amex offer I'm considering using during DSC.
No PER-MEL-BNE-CNS?Snuck in a lil PER-ADL-BNE-CNS/CNS-MEL-PER before the deadline
Yes that’s fineJust threw another work flight in last minute… it’s a little speculative and I may have to change the date / time.
Does anyone know if you keep the same PNR and just amend the booking of it still earns DSC? (Flight will still be flown in the valid window).
Yep - you’ll be fine. Just added a final SYD-ADL-SYD in U (PC/PC+ earner for 72SCs) with the same plan in mindJust threw another work flight in last minute… it’s a little speculative and I may have to change the date / time.

Another huge benefit of PC/PCP+ this year. Classic rewards are the same price they were during last year's DSC (and the previous couple of years). For how long that remains the case is, of course, another question.I decided that nearly 2x what I paid to fly return to NZ last year was too much.
Or until the “Will Qantas have another DSC promotion in 2023?” thread appears…Well, that’s a wrap everyone until next years’ DSC thread commences
No avail on my dates, but will try to get some seats released and swap to this both ways when I hit WP through another few bookings in MayNo PER-MEL-BNE-CNS?
Absolutely!Points club together with DSC is quite a strong combination indeed, definitely more incentive to fly in U domestically. International long haul CR in J of course is harder to find. On the other hand, the full J fares domestically are expensive.
Hope it doesn’t turn into dynamic award pricing anytime soon lol
Trying to decide if do you hear the people sing? Or one day more is more fitting.Or until the “Will Qantas have another DSC promotion in 2023?” thread appears…

Seems like I could change this to PER-SYD-DRW-BNE-ADL-MEL for no extra points. But, the SYD-DRW arrives just before DRW-BNE departs which could be risky. Perhaps it might even be the same plane, but I dont think I am going to take that risk.Managed to get PER-SYD-DRW-ADL-MEL to stick on AS for 20k points. Fingers crossed, should get 132 SC (or 264 during DSC)
