I know a couple of people on that flight (but I don't think it earns points)
Antarctica and Aurora flights do not earn SCs or points.

Then what exactly is the point of taking one?Antarctica and Aurora flights do not earn SCs or points.
For the scenery. Some people like that. Then what exactly is the point of taking one?
We are not trapped in WA. We can anywhere in Australia that we want to. Without testing, too. Can fly overseas as well.I do feel sorry for people trapped in WA prison. I wonder if QF will give them an extra 50sc or something as a good luck gift?

That part I totally agree with at the moment. I’m just over the innuendo and incorrect comments from someone who does not live in Western Australia, even with immediate family that does.Only becomes an issue if you want to get back!

Back to the 4~ and rewards flights.
They have never counted towards the eligible sectors IIRC. I believe there could be confusion because for the purposes of the previously granted "book one flight get extension" promotions, rewards flight bookings DO count so it is a little confusing I guess.
However they are two separate things.

If you're in Points Club (or Points Club Plus), Classic Flight Rewards count towards the ~. If you're not in Points Club, they don't.
I see. I am corrected. apologies for this (I'm in PC but never noticed this as a part of it)If you're in Points Club (or Points Club Plus), Classic Flight Rewards count towards the ~. If you're not in Points Club, they don't.
I agree in it seems a counter intuitive, but personally I'm glad it exists. I've been burning up a lot of points last year and this, so they've been contributing to my four flights, and I get SC's from the reward flights as well.I see. I am corrected. apologies for this (I'm in PC but never noticed this as a part of it)
I do find this "perk" to be a bit counter intuitive to me. PC is supposed to be about earning on the ground and all. OK yes you get rollover SC for PCP and the lounge passes but it seems a bit weird they would be eligible.
though thinking it through logically given rewards flights earn SC for PC/PCP members then I suppose that makes them eligible under that category.
It's certainly a bit of a "hidden" extra benefit in my view. useful to know.
We cop the same in Qld also, with the lowlight being the continuing jibes from particularly parochial AP comments about hospitals - they were actually made nearly 18 months ago.I’m just over the innuendo and incorrect comments from someone who does not live in Western Australia, even with immediate family that does.
Can you go back to them and ask for a refund, quoting the same day extension?believe it or not, I extended some of my KF miles that were expiring in March for 6 months at a cost of 1,200 miles earlier today!!!
