Qantas extends status extensions until end June 2023 (previously December 2022)

Membership year ends 31 May and still showing that I need 2 flights and 1180 SCs to retain Platinum.

I booked and took a flight on 28 April. Is it too soon to show updated status?

I'm not too concerned about roll over credits as I'm not likely to retain Platinum again in the near future. Lifetime Gold for me is the new Platinum.
If you've completed the requirement then nothing will change until the 1st day of the new year with the 'Congratulations - Status maintained' first, and then during the day the status credits rollover kicks in. Ours are now complete.

I called on Tuesday to chase up my lack of rollover SCs, she said it takes 2-3 weeks, but as we were at that point already, she escalated it to the internal team.

48 hours later and nothing yet - I guess they might be on Easter break.

I finally received my rollover status credits today (they should have posted in early April). They appear on my QFF statement as “status credit adjustment”.

I contacted Qantas around 2-3 weeks ago to enquire about this. Just got a reply one minute ago to say that my account has now been credited with the rollover status credits.

Not sure if everyone who is missing status credits would have now received them, or if they just processed my rollover manually since I complained.

Did you email them? If so, which address did you use? I think my green tier SCs did not rollover and want to query them about it.

Still waiting for mine from early April. Sent an email to [email protected] on Monday 25 April pointing out that it is no longer early April. Received a call from QFF on Tuesday put couldn't pick up as in meeting, immediately got an email saying they were trying to call me to "address my concern" and what time is good to call. I replied straight away saying after 4pm but no call that afternoon or for the rest of the week. Called on Saturday morning and spoke to someone who said it should have happened automatically but couldn't say why it did not and they will escalate for action.

If it took 2-3 weeks after contact for your rollover to be rectified then I may expect it to happen for me after mid May.

Status credits rollover today (1 day after new status year) wasnt expecting it so quick!

Doesn't this just sum up the current level of experience and expectation up nicely?! :D

Glad you (and others) got the rollover :)

Same! (Status anniversary April 30th).
Will be eagerly waiting for December to see if they strip away my Gold status and dump me back to bronze when I don't board my flight 😅

Got my rollover today - manual intervention via the call centre.

Has anyone with PC+ received both the expected extensions SCs and 100 PC+ SCs?

that's great, how long ago did you call?

Yesterday.

I did call last week and nothing happened, and when I called yesterday they had no record of me calling earlier.

This time I called them back 4 hours after hanging up (they can't do it over the phone, it has to be sent to the team in Australia) but they could tell me exactly what the previous agent had done and to wait 3-5 days - but as it turned out, it was overnight.

My guess is they didn't know how to handle these last week, but they must be getting a lot of calls and have got the process down pat.

Thanks, I'll try a fourth time to get this resolved today.

I just did for April - 500 Platinum extension and 100 PC+ = Total 600SCs towards retain Platinum
Lifetime earned this year = 500SCs (PC+ rollover doesn't contribute to lifetime)

If you check closely you'll find the opening balance was reduced by the amount of rollover SCs. Ie they do not count to Lifetime status.

Ah yes I see what you mean. Last year-end was difficult to reconcile due incorrect rollover of various additional SCs from service downgrades and status support impacts plus ongoing adjustments over several months.

This year has been much simpler👍
