And fairer (sorry couldn't resist)This year has been much simpler
And fairer (sorry couldn't resist)This year has been much simpler
After two emails and two calls to QFF customer service over the past couple of weeks where nothing was actioned I submitted a complaint via the customer care form on Thursday. The next day I received a response to that complaint and my rollover has been manually processed. Thanks, I'll try a fourth time to get this resolved today.
Yep, I just emailed QFF to request 250 points back for Gold.Is there anyone else with a membership year ending 31 March who was expecting to receive a status credit rollover and hasn't yet got it? I'm not sure whether to contact QFF at this point or wait a bit longer.
The AFF article was interesting in that it was noted that those who had not received the rollover status credits had all retained status on their own. I retained status on February 28 on my own dollar but also received the rollover SC almost immediately. There must be something iffy about QFF members with an April 30th anniversary!
Congratulations Qantas on getting my status credit rollover correct without me having to contact you. This is a first since September 2021. If only I could get "Customer Care" to respond to any of my online requests or speak to someone competent (I know they exist) without being cut-off/hung-up on. I do get very excited/surprised when someone from Qantas finally contacts me but the excitement is short-lived when they try to sell me wine!
Only one but every issue I have had to contact Qantas over since September 2021 has been ignored. In one case phoning Qantas made the problem significantly worse when they ticketed my first class booking into economy, then hung-up on me. But credit where credit is due as I contacted them again last night following the advice in this thread (rather than contacting Customer Care) and 318,000 missing points that should have been refunded to me in January finally hit my account today.Just how many status credit rollovers have you received since Sep 21? Please do share your methods!
Supposing the 500 status credits were earned flying Qantas or a non-Jetstar Australia domestic flight during your program then, then yes.Assuming, say, a 31 October rollover, if I finish my Platinum year with 500 status credits 'rightly' earned (i.e. not through status support etc.), will 500 rollover plus another 100 as a Points Club Plus member for a total of 600 to kickstart the new membership year?
Has there been anything to suggest that SCs earned on the ground (vaccine bonus, BP, green tier) would not also roll over?Supposing the 500 status credits were earned flying Qantas or a non-Jetstar Australia domestic flight during your program then, then yes.

AFAIK the only exclusion would be ones that are not previously rolled over or granted through status support, as @Danger suggested.
I believe that was a typo when they first announced the status credit rollover. Indeed on the status support website, there is even a table that breaks down what travel periods count for status credit rollover based on when your program year ends:Great. I had missed the limitation on flights.
But what about the below? @oz_mark included it in a post made on 28 February but there was no link to where it came from. I don't see that flight restriction included on this page, nor do I see anything there about the bookings having to be made on or after 28 February.

Per the QF FAQ, points club SCs qualify for rollover:So if if you earned DSCs only the base SCs would be included in the roll-over? Are Points Club SCs earned on reward flight conisered "bonus"?

This limitation appears on the following QF status support page:Great. Good to know. I also don't see a limitation on the SCs eligible for rollover only being able to be be earned on QF on non-JQ domestic flights that you mentioned. This page says SCs earned through partners count.
What flights are eligible to qualify me for the Status Credit rollover?
To be eligible for the Status Credit rollover, you need to book, pay and have the ticket issued on at least one of the following:
- Any Qantas operated flight with a QF flight number, or
- Any Qantas Points earning Jetstar international booking with a JQ flight number including Jetstar flights within New Zealand (JQ), Jetstar Japan (GK) and Jetstar Asia (3K) flights. Jetstar domestic flights within Australia are ineligible.
I think that refers to being eligibile to have any credits rolled over, as opposed to the credits that can be rolled over. As @Danger mentioned, on this page,
Which Status Credits count towards the rollover?
Status credits earned through flying or with our partners on the ground will count towards the rollover. Status Credits provided by Qantas as a bonus, support or gift will not count towards the rollover.
So let me get this straight, the flight I booked and took back in March with QF would qualify me for the QF status roll over, with all of the JQ flights I've taken since the beginning of program year (Dec 1, 2021) through end of program year (Nov 30, 2022) would qualify for rollover, up to a maximum of 250 SCs (as I'm Gold)? That kind of changes things for me in program year 2023 since I'll be starting the year with roughly 900 SCs between the roll over credits, the 100 SCs from the Green tier for 2022 and 2023 and the 50 status credits for flying 500 SCs with JQ/QF. Add a simple US domestic flight and I'll easily accumulate the 500 status credits necessary to hit Executive Platinum on QF.Aren't they contradictory?
The aforementioned table (which is only included on the page you highlighted) states, for example, for someone with a 31 October 2022 expiry, status credits earned from 1 November 2021 count for roll over. But how can that be if the booking creation date must be on or after 28 February 2022?
Wait! I see the issue. What exceladdict says. The FAQ you've quoted is what's required to qualify for the rollover. That is, you have to make at least one, new booking on QF or non-JQ domestic on or after 28 February 2022 in order to be eligible to have your SCs rollover.
Clear as mud.
