Are the 763s going to soldier on somewhere, or head to Mojave (or similar)?

how many more 767s does QF still have after this?

hope they start retiring those 737-400s soon too...

Am I right in thinking that OGE is still working? If so, do we know why she was skipped for retirement so far?

Just saw this.

Ahh the memories......had completely forgotten about the divided F/J cabin on 767's! Still have my Old Gold card too. And to think that we all thought the Captains Club lounges were so smick!

That manual is a beauty. Never went on a 763 in that configuration, but remember some of the others. About 8 years ago went on a 762 to Noumea just weeks before it's retirement. It still had the J seats like those in the manual. I think they were the seats it was delivered with. I remember that F seat too, it was a very good seat.

OGG and OGF were around 21 years old, good servants to the airline but those 787 replacements will do just nicely when they arrive.

And when will that be? Qantas don't even know :p

From Fairfax, "Mr Strambi said the first 787-9 was expected to be delivered to Qantas some time in 2014 or 2015 and would play a significant role in helping Qantas International improve."

Brilliant :!:
