Just like last year, there's a moment of disappointment seeing the points balance drop following the charity donation - but I will feel better when the 10,000 points plop in.

Weird that they don’t let you just pay $25. I’m sure there’d be a few more interested in the 10k pts incentive.

Unless of course you can bypass that leaf and find a “sustainable stay” that works.

The wellbeing quiz does not reset. The nice FF team have been manually giving people that leaf when they have four others

Yes, you probably will need to call to ask them to give you the leaf.

My year reset overnight. I have made the four transactions needed to get my four leaves - when they arrive I will call up to get the quiz leaf. Just like last year, there's a moment of disappointment seeing the points balance drop following the charity donation - but I will feel better when the 10,000 points plop in.

You may not need to call up about the quiz.
BeeJnr's rollover was a few months ago and we haven't done anything yet for green tier for this FF year, and yet BeeJnr already has the leaf awarded for the quiz.

Give it a few days and see if it just magically appears.

I did not call and it magically appeared as green sometime in December when others here also noted the change (year reset 1st October).

I have got my four leaves and called the Frequent Flyer team to ask for the quiz leaf to be awarded manually. They told me they have changed their policy and are no longer willing to do this. They said the quiz will be available again on the app at some point, aligned to the membership year and not the calendar year.

Hmmm.

For a while, they were manually crediting the quiz leaf on request. Then I think they automatically gave the quiz leaf to everyone in their second year (December 2022 IIRC). Now they seem to be saying they will reset the quiz, so no more free rides on the fifth leaf.

I guess you got your leaf in the automatic award last year.

I will choose miles as my reward, so no advantage in waiting. I liked the idea of being fully requalified within three days, but it is not to be.

I checked and indeed I got the quizz leaf automatically, not sure when. Good stuff I didn't complete all the other challenges yet, as I want to requal green sometime this month to pick the 50sc in my next membership year, 1st of April.

I’d recommend peeps offset their Tassie holiday home - in case that option goes (no suggestion there it will).

Also, I’d go for the cheapest flight offset option AFAO. Something like a paid flight and cash offset on SYD-MEL return (or similar) seems to be most reliable.

I’m sitting on four and will do the charitable thing in June/July.

This! Another handy tip. Get that charity one during a rewards store Sale!

Booked a QFF Classic Reward flight today with carbon offer applied (141 points cost) so that should add my 5th green leaf for the year. Will again take the 10K points as I have no need for the status credits. Will have cost me less than 10K points to play the game, so a small net win.

My account is now showing 5 x green leaves with the carbon offset leaf now green.

I have not yet received the invitation to select my reward.

Thats the same thing with me too, I had 4 leaves, then the 5th being the quiz automatically credited, still shows 2023 expiry with no option to choose the reward.

Me three - my fifth (presumably quiz) leaf turned green overnight. Still shows expiry of December 2023 and no option to choose my reward yet.
