Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

It is different this time around. Some of us completed the leaves four weeks ago and we are still waiting. Still showing last year’s expiry date (31 Dec 23).
I am in the same situation. Two calls ( first one, “send an email”, second one had no idea, kept putting me on hold then hung up), and 3 emails over the last 5 weeks ( still no response to any of them) and still waiting for anything to happen.
 
I am now up to 45 days since receiving the 5th green leaf and "Congratulations" notification. So more than double the stated 21 days and half way to the 90 day window for the member to select their reward or forfeit the chance.

I forgot to mention, I called the FF team and they manually created the option for me to select my reward. I have got the reward but it still says my green tier expires on 31 December 2023.
 
Interesting data point, my green tier 5th leaf in 2nd year was also added manually and I claimed the 50SCs through website.

Even though the SCs are included in my YTD SC total, if I look at my account activity and filter on SCs they dont show up and my Green Tier still expires 31st July (even though it already said that prior to doing this FF years leaves).

Im 5 months out from ticking over to the 3rd year of green tier, i do wonder if QF will sort out the we issues to allow this to reset properly each FF year before then.

It doesnt seem to be a priority for them at all. I do wonder if this was originally only meant to be a once off thing, not ongoing.
 
I'm sitting on 4/5 with 6 weeks to go. Just got to fly with Qantas and offset. Hoping they've fixed their issues by then...

I'll be taking the 50 SC's as I'm only 409 SC's away from LTG. Won't matter in which year I take the SC's as I'm only sitting on 95 SC's in this flying year and will drop back to Silver

Have no current bookings but wil have flights to MEL and SYD before 28 February, so only need to work out which of the 4 sectors I will use QF. Haven't flown with QF since May (only 3 flights with them in 2022, out of 18 taken) as they need to work out their issues and I needed to re-qual VA Plat (much more important to me).
Hmmm, not sure I'm going to get my last green leaf. I'm flying to BNE/MEL tomorrow (back Wednesday) to help me requal VA Plat.

Have another trip booked BNE/ADL/BNE on VA on Monday next week (currently on VA both ways); but I could switch the return to QF as their flight is later and would get me the last leaf. My year finishes on 28th Feb. What a conundrum

In similar boat as you. Is a call to 13 13 13 in order now?

Thanks. It was a surprisingly easy 5 min phone call and I was able to immediately select my reward.
I am waiting for my selection to pop up, but want to mack the choice next month to line up with new membership year. Would you advice to wait next month before calling?

Having called today 1st Mar, the website said that I had until 30th June to select a reward.

Someone mentioned above that there may be a 90 day window from getting the 5th leaf to selecting a reward so something to consider I suppose.

The wording from Qantas on the timing is this:
The option to select a reward will appear in My Account 21 days after the member has achieved Green Tier. The choice of 10,000 Qantas Points or 50 Status Credits or three tonnes of Carbon offset must be made within 90 days of achieving Green Tier status.

This is how it went.
I called 131313 and pressed 2 for the frequent flyer option.
No wait time.
I told the agent that I was calling about Green Tier and that I had achieved 5 green leaves but couldn't select a reward.
He checked my account to confirm that I had the green leaves and told me to hold while he got approval.
A minute later he told me to check my account online to see if I can now select my reward so I did.
I indeed could now select a reward and told him so.
I thanked him and we said our goodbyes.

Called QFF yesterday as I was sick and tired of waiting with it now being well over a month since I've qualified. Spoke with agent who spoke to supervisor and came back and told me he had to email an escalation contact to get this sorted and they'd get back to them in 2-3 business days and they will then call me back sometime early next week to provide an update. Fingers crossed that this isn't just talk.

I called last week and this week. No outcome so far. I ll follow up next week.
 
As I am now more than 60 days since achieving all 5 green leaves, I decided it was time to call. I must have got the second most incompetent agent answering my call. The only benefit was that I only waited about 3 mins for my call to be answered. This Qantas FF customer service agent had no idea about green tier or about the failure of their systems to present the reward option. She opened a ticket with the support team and "will call me back". When I enquired about how long she expected it would take to hear back from her support team, she said "probably by early next week".

Now I think we all know that I am not going to receive a call back. So it will be a matter to HUACA each day until I find someone who can actually help and resolve the problem.
