Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

Has anyone had any issues offsetting their holiday house in the last week? I'm getting some errors thrown up during checkout.
Your post reminded me to renew my Holiday Home. It just went through fine using $.

I did try and have that delivered sustainably at the same but got an error. Couldn’t be bothered stuffing around to work out why. Probably save that for some QF Wine in due course.

Edit: yeah, I had the address error also. Removing the “delivery” got rid of that.

Yeah, perhaps trying to get it delivered sustainably was my issue. Ended up going through in the same order, but seperating might be the go.

I had them both initially but when I changed apps to get my CC details, QF Market place then started asking for detailed delivery address before shi$$ing itself. Sounds like you had the same issue but punched through…

Anyway, this year I’m going for min points used to get GT. I reckon better value to attain 50SCs and obviously net points for those who prefer. So far $22 and zero points for 3/4 leaves.

Possible 'Fight Club' situation here... new member year started today, and after following the GT links in my app I found an option to redeem 2023-24 GT SCs, and they have credited to the new member year tally... but... I haven't re-qualified GT as yet. I first qualified and claimed in my 2021-22 member year after GT was launched (Mar/Apr 2022)... and then did 1st renewal in Oct 2022 for 2022-23 member year. 2 sets of activities - now 3 sets of SCs.

One of the very few Qantas glitches that are actually in the customer's favour.

Only if it sticks! :) Could be something to do with how it was manually credited in Oct 2022 amongst the confusion for how to get the quiz leaf on renewal

Can someone please remind me / explain to me the "rules" for Green Tier unlocking in the second year.

My membership year is 1 Feb - 31 January.

- I unlocked Green Tier for the first time in October 2022, so in my 1 Feb 2022 - 31 January 2023 membership year.
- The app says I have Green Tier until 31 January 2024.
- I have requalified for Green Tier in my 1 Feb 2023 - 31 January 2024 membership year about 14 days ago.
- The T&Cs say that I should see my reward 21 days after qualifying for Green Tier. This is also what the Frequent Flyer Call Centre Agent told me yesterday.
- So the question is: Should I expect that I can select the 50 SCs in about 7 days as it's not double dipping like others tried to in the same membership year; or are the 50 SCs only available from 1 February 2023 for me?

Thanks for sharing any insights.

Purchased offset last week, no issue. What's the specific error?
How long after you purchased the offset did the green leaf appear on your profile? I used points to offset an existing reward booking on 1st Seotember. The small print states that this will be recognised 7 days from purchase but as of today it is still not showing.

My experience was no, you can't expect the options, and my online query (complaint) received a similar answer to this question a week or so ago.
Qantas Loyalty just responded as follows via email:

„Upon further reviewing the next Green tier reward will be sent after your membership year.“

Doesn’t smell like that this passes the pub test as per above discussion of the T&Cs. I wonder in which court these T&Cs could be tested as I wouldn’t mind to get to Platinum finally.

Usually about 48 hrs after purchase if it should post automatically.

Adding an offset to an existing booking sometimes doesn’t stick for GT and you may have to contact QF.

You could also threaten them with legal action - with pictures of the actual T&C attached from the page. Maybe they would budge then.

GT leaves achieved but interestingly, expiry date has not updated. Rewards have not appeared - it hasn't been 21 days, but I have already claimed this year. Hoping that bonus appears when the year ticks over.

Sure but in which court‘s jurisdiction would this fall into?

Thanks. I put in a call today. The agent advised that they have to submit the query to an internal team and that it will take up to 48hrs for a response.
