Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

I booked a classic reward flight about two weeks for next year and purchased the offset at the same time as booking.

So far I haven't received the green leaf. I do wonder if I've just been unlucky, or if they have made a recent change e.g. to now only post when the flight is taken, or to exclude reward flights.
Did you pay in points or cash? I recently made a points booking, but paid for the offset in cash. The leaf appeared when the points for the offset transaction appeared on my statement.

I made a booking 3 weeks ago. Paid for carbon offset at the time in cash.
No leaf yet.
Does say upto 8 weeks.

Do we think it makes a difference in time the leaf appears if you pay with points or cash?

Several pages back, it was speculated that “cash” for an offset was more reliable. Also, adding an offset later was hit and miss.

There is also the potential “min” spend to trigger the leaf. There’s nothing published AFAIK, but at least $1 or more to get the leaf (which should be easy now?). There was a time when SYD-MEL one way was $0.99….

Paid in cash and the amount paid was over $2. I haven't as yet received any points for the offset on my activity statement.

If the points appear, but the leaf doesn't soon after, then i think its a green tier ticket. otherwise its a missing points claim first.

Booked some flights for 2 pax via business panel, no option to offset flights

On MMB it is showing as 610 points to offset for 2 pax . Would both get the green tick? or do I need to split the PNR?

Update.
I called GT hotline and was told most ppl pay for carbon offset by points, I paid with cash. He had to escalate to another team. Within 24hours my 5th tier appeared.
Unsure if/ how long I'd have to wait if I didn't call in.

Anyhow now the 21 day wait for option of reward to appear.

I can answer my own question.
Yes, it comes up on the very last page after TI, car, hotel etc.
Have only ever offset on revenue tickets.
FWIW you can do it online but I haven't been able to over the phone (eg. WP request bookings) so have had to do these later by points

Has anyone rolled their green tier to the next anniversary year in recent times for green tier?

I have only ever paid with cash and my leaf appeared within 48 hours, think they are now stating "up to 8 weeks" 🤔

I patiently waited the 21 days, still had to chase it back in January @MooTime
Promptly sorted then.
I suggest if you are waiting on Reward option for SC/Points, a call may be the way to go.

Thanks for that info. Good to know.

I'll wait the 21 days cos the call agent very likely to inform me of that T&C anyway.
I'm in no rush, Dec is renewal date & only chasing the 10k points.

I paid for the other ticks, and waiting on this points carbon offset for my final green tick. Was done on the weekend, so 72 hours now. Worth a call? I don't want to waste the effort of the other activities.

Called on Wednesday, about 72 hours - said they saw the points offset and told need to wait 7 days from purchase.
Called back today, told need to wait 8 weeks. I said the anniversary year is on Wed, asked for escalation and given an SR number ref.

In order to be recognised for the Green Tier activity, Qantas Business Rewards members must add their Qantas Frequent Flyer number to their booking. Carbon offset will be recognised as a Green Tier activity seven days after purchase.

my recent experience is around 7 days from booking.

Maybe wait another 2 days
