I don't have a choice for work travel but if I did, I wouldn't fly VA over QF and I'd be interested to know why others would in my situation... With QF I'd get wifi and a meal without having to fork over my own money, and having done far too many of the triangle flights lately I certainly wouldn't have more cancellations than I do today. Who would be a better option for this, Rex?

Other than cutting off my nose to spite my face as some sort of protest vote, which carrier gives better standard inclusions for those not paying the ticket price?

Just thinking I have done a number of QFi sectors in the last few years, but none of them on a QF ticket. It would probably be 15 years since I did QFi on a QF ticket. I always check, but never the value is there.
