re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

I'm sure this has already been discussed but I found this in the T&C's: Does this mean MASA's are not eligible? If yes I shouldn't be expecting any points at all LOL

Eligible Flight means, unless otherwise determined under clause 4.1, a regular scheduled flight operated by Qantas, Emirates or American Airlines with a Qantas ‘QF' flight number shown on the ticket that were purchased in Australia and ticketed on a Qantas ticket (ie where the ticket number for the Itinerary commences with the numerals ‘081') and excludes:

  1. redemption flights for Qantas and Partner Classic Awards (as defined in the QFF Program Terms) and Any Seat Awards in the same booking classes as those used for Qantas and Partner Classic Awards;

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Flights seem to be crediting about 5-7 days after for me and randomly - not just on Fridays All are domestic and none are codeshare.

Has anyone had any of the pre-registration or bonus points show up yet?

None for me yet, 9 from before registration, and 2 from after that have not posted.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

I have nothing pending, so waiting for all the pre-rego flights still.

No pre rego flights as yet. International flights seem to be crediting in the same time frame as domestic. Haven't had any code share either - will have at the end of August.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

I will just have to be patient - from what I can see there is still no way to claim missing points.
I think they will credit all of the pre-rego segments and bonus points before they make that part of their site functional

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Today my Aquire account was credited with some of the bonus 500 Aquire points. They were not credited as Pending points but rather full Aquire points.

It should be noted that only the bonus points were credited but no points were credited from the flights themselves.

Can anyone confirm if Aquire points are allocated for ASA flights?

Aquire points not for ASA. But ASA should get the 500 bonus points. Also there is no reason for normal points to credit for bonus points earning flights since the program wasn't functional then.

I emailed the morning of the 15th and got a call from a lovely lady at Aquire who told me to log in on the 16th and there would be a nice surprise. Lo and behold 7000 points from pre registration for 14 flights. Strangely none were from flights that I thought were eligible, and the ones that were eligible were not there. Go figure at least they're there. ;)

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Received a good number of mine too however still heaps missing and damn shame ASA's were deemed ineligible.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Yes a lot of my flights are ineligible sadly

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

ASA shouldn't be ineligible for the 500 bonus points.

I missed out on thousands of points during the preregistration period because I didn't read the terms and conditions. I ensured our ABN was added to every booking but more than half of my staff were not QFF members so the flights were ineligible and I didn't realise until flights started posting and so many were missing. I have encouraged them all to join now and helped them claim flights from 30 days prior and when able I will claim missing Aquire points but I will still miss out on a large chunk

I cannot believe that these people have had monthly paid flights for 1 - 5 years and were never getting the points  it still does not compute with me.

Generally people will disagree with my interpretation. But here goes. Basically it is something that you'll need to fight to get. An eligible flight was not defined during the promo period - bookings made in December. The promo requirement said something like 'booking a Qantas flight in December and fly before end of February and add your abn'. I don't have the exact precise words, but ASA were not explicitly excluded IIRC. Therefore if I booked a Qantas flight meeting the date requirements and added my ABN, regardless of how I paid for the flight the 500 promo points should apply.

I booked my flights in good faith on the information provided by Qantas at the time. It is wrong for them to later change that information. Once again I'm banging on about principles and no doubt people will tell me how wrong I am.

Very happy to have those bonus points in the account now!

The only thing that hasn't worked is bonus points don't count for activating another traveller.
