I totally agree (and also have my copy of the T&Cs) and hence my expectation that flight points should also be credited for ASA's.

That is the conditions for the 500 bonus point promo. ASA are only eligible for those pre-registration points. Flight in the pre-registration bonus period are not eligible for normal aquire points.

The program conditions specifically say Classic award fares are not eligible for aquire points. As such marginal ASA will not earn any aquire points. ASA in eligible fare classes will earn.

I have 37 JASA flights listed as

Booking class not eligible - Pre-Registration Offer

I'm sure me spending so much less money on JASAs going forward will help them out.

Totally agree..... the removal of masa fares will save me $hitloads. After june 30 its upgrades only with my points or j classics.... have been busy on the credit card front too so after june I'll be looking at other programs while enjoying my diminishing time with qantas. ..

I see no reason for that, if they were booked within the conditions for the bonus offer. If I had that many I'd be fighting for the bonus.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

We seem to have 9,000 points from the pre-registration bonus which have been credited as "Aquire points" and then 1,200 points from flights after the scheme started which have been credited as "pending points".

Does anyone know whether that means we have earned 10,200 towards the 20,000 that we need before we can start using the points? Or do we still have to earn another 18,800 before we can start using the points? I can't find any explanation on the Aquire website.

Unrelated point - If I look at the Aquire website on the iphone I can't find a log-on button, only a register button that doesn't take me to a log-on button.

Seem the login button is present on chrome in droid...

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

I've filled in the web form to tell them I need bonus points for 7 flights that meet the eligibility criteria. Damned hard to do that within 150 characters. That's not even an SMS! I guess Qantas are trying to save money on electrons.

My guess is you need to hit the pending targets and the bonus points don't count. So 18800. My pending requirement for 2 flyers is still pending despite having a second flyer earn some of the bonus points.

I have had the same experience and try as I may I can not find a way to go to the full site from the iPhone.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

I have been reviewing my statement and the Aquire points balance at the top of the page is a lot less than the individual points on each page add up to  I checked and totals at the bottom of each page are all correct - I hope it is just a glitch that is fixed soon.

Anyone else have this problem?

I guess they are having IT issues - I cannot log into my account anymore.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Hi All

Just a quick update had a phone call from Aquire a few moments ago after I queried the JASA's taken were not allowed and was advised that U class was exempt from Aquire points, I pointed her to an email sent to me that defined eligible flights and what was not included and nowhere does it refer to U class. It only refers to classic awards. The response was OH I had better go back and talk to my supervisor again as she couldn't see in the email, where they confirmed early bird resignation completed, any reference to U class or JASA or FASA or indeed straight ASA's She will refer and call me back later.

Will keep you all informed as to the outcome.

Cheers

Thanks Ansett, Wouldnt it also be nice if they put an actual date of travel so you could confirm that points had been posted.
I cant even remember when I took this flight, but it must of been an ASA.

Hi All

SHOULD ALSO MENTION A THANK YOU TO MEDHEAD WHO ENCOURAGED ME TO CHASE THIS.......

Big thank you to you for finding the conditions and posting them. It overcame my laziness to track down the information needed to chase these things and, of course, I've started the process to get my missing points as well.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

I have my points posted OK for the pre registration offer...but....upgraded travel, since the start of Aquire, on PER-MEL-PER, still U CLASS on ticket, was credited at lower points level. Thanks Ansett I wait for the answer on the JASA flights.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

ok Finally Some Good News

I have just received a phone call from Aquire team and they confirmed that ASA bookings were not part of the promotion however as some one had forgotten or neglected to include this in the email reply and the definition of eligible and ineligible fares then they will allow ASA's to earn Aquire points.

They have advised that this will take 2-3 weeks as they need to a sweep ALL accounts and then have the points applied.

All customers who had registered for Aquire and part of the early bird promotion will be eligible for the points. They will NOT need to request them as missing points.

So sometimes we can beat the big Red Roo :D :D :D
