re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Hi Pablo

I would suggest that you would indeed be entitled to the bonus points as the requirement to be booked in Australia was not mentioned in the original invite and eligible flights did not preclude flights booked outside of Australia. In addition the notification received upon pre registering also does not mention the in Australia requirement which only appeared when final registration was completed.

Please refer to page 24 posts 237 and 238 for you own review and interpretation.

Cheers

thanks Ansett

i thought they would be eligible but haven't had any of my flights booked on .br or international JASA's come through. Have others had them credit yet? I was wondering if they might be in the same bucket as the original MASA where they weren't crediting.

Hope they come thorough soon.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

The points posting has me bamboozled. I got all of my promotion points including the JASA. Recent postings .... PER-SYD J 1531 SYD_PER J 1225 and SYD-CBR J 625 CBR-SYD J 500.
Has anyone else experienced such anomalies? Both were paid flights. I have queried with Aquire.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Has anyone worked out the aquire credit timeframe? Is there a fixed transfer time per week or some other pattern?

Is the CBR-SYD J 500 one of the pre-registration flights? That would explain the 500 points. Not sure about the others.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

No, it was explained to me by the Aquire team who rang me within 2 hours...very impressed!!
What I did not realise is that the return flights were booked into a different class. The flights over were in C class (earning 50%)and the flights back were in D class (earning 40%).
I failed to realise the difference, I will have to be more observant of the classes in the future:)

They're currently offering a 2500 point bonus for new members who register, for anyone who hasn't yet.

Still can't login. Anyone else able to get in?

Seems to work ok for me.

I am finding flights are crediting 5 days after the segment was flown 99% of the time.

.

I did post that yesterday and the login was not working for a day or two before that and someone answered that it was now working. Thanks.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Mrs GPH will have to stay back one night this week to put up a case to get the flights awarded in spite of QF supposedly sorting it out. I sometimes wonder if organisations like this that make a promise and don't deliver need to back their promises with a compensation beyond " oops sorry , we stuffed up (again)"

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Around 40 flights showing on my statement as Not Eligible and only 2 are showing as eligible. My calculations are that they are all eligible. Plus another 8 flights which were showing as eligible last week have now disappeared off the statement completely. Wish I had printed the initial statement. I've been told to list all the flights in an email to be looked at.

OT: On our personal FF Memberships; Of the 6 sectors (same booking reference number) on our last trip, 4 sectors were missing and the 2 listed were incorrectly showing as Classic. This is being fixed now. They all earn the 50% bonus SC's as well. It's very time consuming and frustrating.

ok Finally Some Good News

I have just received a phone call from Aquire team and they confirmed that ASA bookings were not part of the promotion however as some one had forgotten or neglected to include this in the email reply and the definition of eligible and ineligible fares then they will allow ASA's to earn Aquire points.

They have advised that this will take 2-3 weeks as they need to a sweep ALL accounts and then have the points applied.

All customers who had registered for Aquire and part of the early bird promotion will be eligible for the points. They will NOT need to request them as missing points.

So sometimes we can beat the big Red Roo :D :D :D

I am wondering how this went for everyone else? The sweep seems to have swept a lot of my previously 'eligible' flights out the door.

You can load multiple pages.

I've just logged in and checked. All my flights still seem to be there. Have you tried doing a date search? The default activity statement shows the last 30 days. You can then change to a calendar month view or do a date search. I search 1 Jan 2014 to yesterday and all the expected flights appeared in the downloaded CSV.

Thanks medhead. I can do the search from 1st Jan 14 to date. I think there are still flights that have dropped off and some have been changed from Eligible to non Eligible. I received a call back from Aquire and have been told that Any Seat awards are definitely not going to be honoured. (Still doesn't explain the fully purchased seats showing as not eligible a I will have to have another go at those). I didn't write the ladies name down, as I was in the middle of Bunnings without a pen. She went to her supervisor who said No. I told her that Aquire had agreed to honour the Any Seat Awards as they hadn't been excluded in the original offer. She said that no-one told them about it. Don't suppose there is anyone else at Aquire I should talk too?

All mine booked as part of the initial launch have been honoured with the 500 points due to an error in the terms and conditions. If the ASA bookings were made during that period then you should be entitled to the points as per my posts

Thanks Ansett. I'll try again tomorrow. Woke up this morning to most of my last 2 weeks flights being properly posted and wondering if I should push on to P1. This Aquire saga has taken the thrill away somewhat

Edit: Laura just called back. It will be fixed

Bit late bit all my pre registration promo ASAs have been given 500. I do have double listings for the flights one saying not eligible and the other with the points. This confused me, hence why I mentioned the search thing.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Have a question regarding claiming missing points, not sure if I am eligible or not.
Basically, my employer joined aquire in April, and I was added as a user only this week.
Am I eligible to claim the flights I took between April and my added date?
I tried to do it online, however, all flights got a result of "Unfortunately your claim could not be processed" "No Matching Records".

Apparently Qantas Airways Ltd is not an eligible airline for earning Aquire points (!?!)
