Kevrosmith - Westpac card earn does NOT count towards your 20,000 for pending.

BUT - the points are available immediately.

You still need to earn the 20,000 from flying and 2 employees to be able to access your flying points.

Have just been looking at my Account and noticed the following and wondered if anyone knew what AUD was for?

LOL, I just logged onto AFF to ask the same question. Maybe we can buy aquire points in the near future.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

I was wondering if it represented the dollar value of goods or services purchased that results in points earn? For instance air seats, hotel rooms, car hire etc.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Quite clearly AUD will be the new Qantas Adjusted Unitised Distortion™ as part of the Simpler and Fairer™ suite of changes where they take the earned points and apply a complex formula that even the most active program members will find hard to understand, but will ultimately reduce the value of an Aquire point to less than one Qantas point. ;)

How long does it take for the bonus 5000 points to post?

Also, I'm assuming I don't have to actually do anything to get the 5000 apart from sign up?

Settle back, relax, I think mine took around 5-7 days.

I activated my account on 29th September and as of today, still no sign of the 5000 bonus points. How long did others wait for them to show up?

Just revisited an old post from 8 Sept where I said I thought mine took around 10 days. Checking my Aquire account history indicates points posted on 5 Sept after I applied on 25 August.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

My order from Staples arrived this morning

Ordered "Sign here Notes", received a 20 pack of pencils

Whilst they are resending the correct item, not a good look to a first time customer.

Thanks. I'll wait until the end of this week then before I start to chase.

My order was just delivered....

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

What delivery firm / network do they use?

Looks like the same outfit that delivers the good stuff from Dans .... I placed two orders (separate ABN) late Thursday and one was delivered AM today .... the fellow mentioned there was another pack but there was something wrong with the paperwork/pack. Not bad considering order placed A/H Thursday and delivered AM Monday in regional QLD.

The Mystery has been solved

The reason for the AUD column is to show the annual renewal and or joining fee on the statement. Nothing more and nothing less :). It was effective from 1st October.

How long do pending points from flights generally take to appear in the Aquire activity statement?
