re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Over the past month I've been monitoring my balance to see if I would make the 20,000 threshold. I was even contemplating an extra trip, that was before realising for me it was futile. I was expecting to forfeit whatever was pending.

I'll take the 15,000 pts now.

I won't be paying the annual fee for Aquire, it's not worth it for me to risk the 20,000 qualifying points.

Thought that they had dropped the annual fee and there was only a joining fee now?

Straight from Aquire Q and A

Is there an annual membership fee for Aquire?

Effective of 3 February 2015, there will be no annual membership fee.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Received the email for 500 bonus points. Now to try to reach the 20K target again.

I'm still waiting for someone to read my signature and bite...

Apologies for my aquire newbie-ishness, how long after a flight where the ABN was entered does it take to flow through to Aquire?

I usually find about 3 days after it appears on the activity statement.

I have flights from 30th April and 3rd May for 2 different travelers and nothing yet.

That seems like a long time - particularly the 30th April one. I don't monitor it all that closely but they usually flow through quite quickly after they appear on the activity statement.

I even tried to submit a Missing points claim and got a No record found error.. Not a good impression of the aquire program so far, i'll wait til tomorrow afternoon before calling to see if it comes through.

It has worked quite well for us, but there are often a few computer glitches. This swapping over to a new membership year has been weird - my account statement is littered with cryptic comments like "tier downgrade" and "tier downgrade reversed".

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

As this is the first time the system has rolled over into a new year it would suggest a bug as flights that would have normally been posted by now have not. I too have had strange comments.

Good to see QF IT is still as inconsistent as ever LOL :)

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Actually, that's a good point. I'm also waiting for flights to post. Just assumed it was being slow.

Have you reported it to Aquire? When I have been talking to them about my issue accessing an activity statement since the end of March they are adamant there have been no web site issues since the programme started. (In 2014)

No I haven't but they certainly had a total disaster at the beginning where they were displaying people's details and had to pull the site down until they fixed it, so I don't know how they can say there have been no issues. There hasn't been anything as bad as that since, but I have had issues logging on from time to time, but cleared up without any intervention.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

So far I've worked out a pattern, flights in which I had not entered an ABN worked fine in the claim missing points tool.
Flights where I have entered my ABN have not posted at all, and after more than 7 days do not succeed in the claim missing points tool "no matching record found".

Didn't get a chance to call them yet, but definitely seems there is an IT issue.

Trying to submit a claim for missing miles using the online form. Very trying...

it is ridiculous. Just realised we are missing the last 3 flights in April - and I know I put the ABN in. Their claims system is pathetic - maybe they hope people will give up. And there are six flights for May - will wait for those a bit longer.

I have the e-ticket receipt indicating all details incl. ABN (Aquire number) and QFF member number included in booking. When the online contact form asked for suggestions I made a couple regarding the useless IT kids. ;)

I've done one missing points claim and it worked fine on line, once I put in the details.

Spoke to Aquire, they were not aware of 'any' specific issues with points not posting, but were able to see my points claims that failed with No matching record found. I've been promised a call back after looking into it.

Also I knew you had to have a QF flight number, but got a rude shock for missing the fact that it has to be a QF code operated by Qantas, Emirates or American Airlines only which one of the routes traveled sometimes by one or more of my travelers is not serviced by any of those 3 airlines, but there are QF codeshares in place.. How ridiculous, should be all QF codes treated as QF flights like it is on QFF.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Further question considering Aquire is so vague, does the 5000 bonus aquire signup points count towards your 20,000 year target?
