I recevied an email today giving me 2000 bonus Aquire points to celebrate the start of a new membship year. The email says they will credit within 2 weeks, but I'm unclear if they will credit as pending or Aquire points.

I'm also interested to know what will happen to my existing pending points when my membership year rolls over.... with what I have, some flights yet to credit and upcoming flights in October and January, I think I will hit the 20000.

The pending points reset to zero on your anniversary. If you got the same email I did, the 2,000 is a consolation prize for not making 20,000. They post as normal points.

Maybe it is a function of how many pending points you had. We had around 15,000.

I had 15,705. Just checked acct. hoping to be pleasantly surprised. I was unpleasantly not.

Can anyone advise how long it takes for points to post. Returned to AUD on Tuesday and Aquire points earned will be enough to to get us over the 20k for the year which ends at the end of the month.

And jump on to submit a claim as soon as you can if they don't post after 5 days passes. Most post smoothly, but there's plenty of items which stop auto posting. E.g. At lounge upgrade.

You cant claim until 7 days have passed.

I've just spent a few weeks chasing up points that didn't post due to points upgrades- EVERY time I call it is like it is a new thing to the call centre staff After 10 minutes explaining it to them and them trying to understand, they tell you it's fixed but it will take 5-7 days to show on your account- make sure you get a reference number and take the name of who you are talking to, as my experience is 2/3 of the time they don't do anything and you have to follow up in a week and start again with a new operator :evil:

Does anyone receive periodic calls from Aquire? I've had a number of voicemails left in recent months - in the middle of the night overseas. There was no indication what they were ringing about. I assume if it was important they'd say so.

I struggle to get a call (back) from them when I have issues.

That was a totally unexpected bonus. I still won't reach the minimum 20,000 to transfer though and the 2000 confirmed points that gave me as a bonus aren't enough to convert to QFF points so they will go to waste as well.
