re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Has anyone ordered this offer? Exactly where do I add the ABN, I can't see anywhere obvious. besides perhaps the second line of the address.
Probably an academic Questions as I've just noticed the 7 June cut off.

I guess the second line would have done?

"and enter your business’ ABN in the delivery address section to receive the bonus Aquire Points for your business"

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

I wondered why I had bought from Epiqure and not got bonus points...:confused:

better be off to my Aquire account to see if I remembered to put my ABN into the order :o:oops:

Hmmm, the emails that came from EpiQure upon order don't say anything other than Aquire Red Dozen...I might have lucked out :(

medhead, I notice that my link above is still good - but only gives 5K points now for a mixed dozen (plus caveat to put ABN into delivery address field)...so better some bonus points than none at all :D

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

I'm still waiting for Staples points from March. Got the email saying I'd received points but they never appeared. Aquire say its Staples problem, Staples reckon I have a personal account rather than business (despite my ABN being in the account and getting the email). The whole system is ridiculous.

I gave up with them - just trying to set up my account was too hard at the beginning...keep plugging away blackcat20.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Ditto (to what QFWP said) I gave up chasing missing points. As a Dom Y "road warrior" it's lots of little bundles of points and hardly worth the time & effort to keep chasing.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Wasn't QFWP talking about Staples bonus points?

You are correct, I misread as the Aquire "account". Oops.

Still it is carp to need to keep chasing little lots of AQ points all the time. Pretty poor of QF/AQ to just shove the responsibility to Staples, Epiqure, Wilsons, etc (and silly when it's QF for missing flight points).

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Yes, I wholeheartedly agree they do not handle partner earn well

Staples has been a mess from the start. Signed up when they had the 10k bonus. Had to fight for bonus. Next time I went to place an order, couldnt log in to staples. Contacted them. "You have no account and have never had an account with us" Never mind that I still had the welcome email. So I had to rejoin. Signed up as a business member (entered ABN), yet now they say Im a personal email. Even though Aquire have sent me an email saying I've earned Staples points. Head. Desk.

I got the 10K points and I quit while I was ahead. Just like pokies - I quit when I got $40 up. never been back.

The problem is, if you let them get away with it, they keep doing it. Dont offer something if you cant follow through....

I totally agree you need to chase the points. Hold them to account.

It is an effort = time = money equation that just doesn't add for me. Sorry to let the side down :(

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Talking with the Aquire staff at the recent BNE Travel Show, seems that they acknowledged they got the program design wrong for self employed or mum-and-dad style companies (who often don't have the minimum 2 travellers required to meet the Aquire rules).

Just so you all know, it is possible to request a change in the system to "take off" that two person flyer requirement - as mine has just been processed.

I find the 2 traveller requirement the (relatively) easy bit. It's getting the 20,000 Pending points that is the problem - requires more nipping around the country side than I can achieve!

Same here. I come up just short of the target and with a couple of weeks left to perform it looks like I will not be bothering with the scheme after August.

re: Qantas launches "Aquire" business frequent flyer program.

Thankfully, due all all MrP's travel we made the 20,000 point mark a couple of weeks ago, with 2 months to spare. He has no idea where all his points come from - and GO!

It was also mentioned that they're working to integrate Aquire into the main website (sort of like Business Direct I assume). No timeframe given though.
