Qantas Platinum One experiences?

Similar sendle experience. Tracking advice received Tuesday that it was on board for delivery. Nothing received. No card or email of a missed delivery. No update to tracking. Chased them up today. Still no advice but the tracking is now stating it is back at the depot.

Interestingly they show the tracking history from last years delivery which shows an original delivery cancelled and a subsequent delivery two weeks later. Seems history is repeating itself

ameno, that shows how popular the Test Series becomes - they will have sent it out to a group of P1's and unfortunately for you, it's first in gets the tickets. It wouldn't surprise me that Nick Bull (Domestic Customer Experience Manager in Perth, previously Brisbane) will be there as part of the QF team on Day 1.

(again not a P1 issue per se)

I am beyond pissed off with these #@_#82*#@*(_@ at sendle. I totally will follow up with the SST whenever I get this stupid wallet (LOL) it's now beyond my tollerance of caring.

The response I received from them just nbow was more or less suggesting that they couldn't deliver again yesterday (umm no sign an attempt was made and I was home at the agreed time, and they fobbed it off that their hours are 8-6pm, but guess what the original notification says 8-8pm for residential!!!) so now they have decided well stuff you, we'll drop it at a local "newsagent" (which according to them is a 7-11?!!! WTF?) in "one or two business days"!? Seriously? how cough is this?

I had requested why not Saturday morning? (which has happened in the past).. nopoe

This lot are a disgrace and I'm really peed off.

and P1/QF need to know that the company they are using (an dtheir subcontractors) are dreadful and it's souring the entire experience of the "gift" (and again, this is not the first year this lot have screwed me around)

I'm so aggrevated.. and I know it shouldn't annoy me so much but I made special efforts to be home all day one day, then late now 2 mornings in a row, rushed home to be there by 6pm yesterday when agreed to deliver(at least i thought so) and nada. no sign. no note. no call or text

by comparision Australia Post are bloody brilliant... lol

Sorry to vent here it's a bit OT but it's so freakin frustrating

pjm99au by any chance are you in the Melbourne area, or elsewhere? I firmly believe that the real issues are with the Melbourne couriers they use (I think fastway) who are known to be cheap and useless. but rerally that shouldn't be our issue. sendle are responsible and they are not giving me much joy

uh yeah it's not like Christmas is an unexpected event, and that is still a few weeks away.

I just feel that sendle are rubbish with their "support" and contradict themselves. I get they just go off whatever BS their local curiours put in the system so they have limited control but I don't think what I've asked for is unreasonable, specially when I *thought* we'd had an agreed upon delivery date and time which hasn't been met. Really frustrating

anyway... how about that 20% P1 discount? :D

Well, I was shocked and excited to FINALLY receive a P1 event invite last week after recently relocating with my family to Perth.

Came out of a meeting and was reading through my personal emails when I saw what had popped in 30 minutes earlier

Clicked through to grab my tickets and was greeted with this...

Cheers Qantas!

Would that be six (RSVPs) and out ???

Sorry but I couldn't resist.

Mine is with CouriersPlease (at least that’s what the card said) I called them and they have left it at a Newsagent a couple of suburbs away. They don’t leave it the day they tried to deliver it, it’s the next day for some odd reason.
I have had this experience before when having some bags delivered and it wasn’t too bad. I will try to get away early and pick up today.

Thanks PF. Maybe mine is with CP too as the reference I was given starts with CPX or something like that. Might try their website :)

I get delivery is difficult and stuff it's just the lack of real informaiton and claims that don't seem to be backed up by the evidence to me (as in no card or contact from a curier at all despite the claims of attempted deliveries)

and sorry but who collects parcels from a 7-11??? I mrwn.. wtf?

What's so different between a suburban 7/11 and a newsagent, apart from the fact the former is open 24x7

And yeah my reference works on the CP website. maybe I can liase with them hmmm

yeah it seems convenient 7-11 are 24/7 but I dunno seems a little odd and possibly a bit insecure? I dunno. I'm kinda not caring so much anymore lol

Thanks for the tip PF!

The Newsagent or 7/11 parcel pick up is actually quite good. I re-direct all my deliveries from Net-a-Porter to the Newsagent as I’m frequently not home, working or travelling. It’s pretty convenient and a lot better than having to re-arrange a delivery that I have missed.

Unrelated to P1 gifts, but I just had the misfortune of having something delivered by CP. The worst couriers even. Found a missed delivery card in my mailbox. I was home at the alleged time of delivery. Called up for re-delivery. 20 minutes on hold and was told it would be delivered that afternoon. Didn't happen. Next day used the online form to get it redelivered on a Monday with a signature required. No delivery attempt. Tuesday called up again with another 15 minutes on hold. They can't explain why it wasn't delivered as they could see my request. Assured me would be delivered the next day, which it was. Courier didn't want my signature.

yes I agree the 7-11 or newsagent seems a good idea.. though if it was an high value item (more the Taittinger rather than the wallet!! LOL) it would seem weird picking that up from the kwik-e-mart with a slurpee and a mars bar. lol

Anyway I have just received a pretty patronising email from sendle basically suggesting it's all my fault and they're only doing what I agreed to, yet they haven't really.. or rather seem to be doing it in the most frustrating of ways. For example when they calles yesterday after they had a "request from Qantas" (!) to follow up (cool huh?) I explained to the offshore agent (dodgy line) that I could be home 6pm blah blah but if not then yes deliver it to eh 7-11 or newsagent... now they claim "Delivery was unable to be made yesterday" and there hours are 8am-6pm - yet on their OWN bloody tracking website it says "Signature Required Bus. 9 to 5, Res. 8am to 8pm" (no offer was made to try for first thing ie 8am) but their website says till 8pm, or implies it, then they tell me via email no only 8am-6pm.. but I said deliver 6pm and I was home. Well no card no nothing (yeah right) now you'd think that OK they couldn't do it then so they'd take it to the 7-11 right? no no because they failed to deliver it's gone back to the depot and sendle need to put in another request which will take 2 business days.

it just frustrates me that somehow they can't do a simple "hey can't deliver, drop it at 7-11 and text the guy" and save everyone time and effort.

gah!

Trust me @RichardMEL the stuff I’m getting delivered from Net-a-Porter to the Newsagent costs a lot more than a bottle of Taittinger Comtes de Champagne!! More like a case :D :p

I am overseas at the moment and I let my wife know to expect the P1 gift arriving. But I made the mistake of telling her it may not be bubbly, but rather a travel wallet. Me proud as I had suggested that gift to Qantas.

My wife is NOT happy. If I get the wallet and not the bubbly I will have to go buy her a very swish bottle.....

Ended up getting the bubbly. My wife is happy :/

But it makes no sense. How are they deciding who to send champas, who to send wallet??

BTW I was totally unimpressed by the second newsletter - apart from the 20% off a single ticket special ( actually 10% if you are not careful) the rest was drab and booring. And another atrocious "interview" with an ostensible P1 traveller. I mean, how can you be so repetitive and coughpy in just the second "episode"? It seems their marketing skills are honed with Jetstar travellers.............
