Qantas Platinum One experiences?

This one is off topic, a bit late, but loosely related. I must just be just unlucky when it comes to airline events.

A couple of weeks back I received an invite to a coughtail party hosted by SQ in ADL. It was for the lead up to the new daily ADL-SIN a350 service. Well this sounded good right up until I realised I would be interstate, another event missed. From what I understand the invite was sent to PPS and SQ gold's who have a recorded address in the ADL area.

Still have not been able to attend a P1 event. One day I will get to an event, even if I have to fly just to attend. After all it is just another flight.

"all I want from Santa" (the QF P1 santa) is a couple of upgrade vouchers - redeemable on any flight I decide to purchase. Or a case of quality Caribbean rum....

Nothing (yet) on MyPost for me.

Santa probably is using their residual credit voucher with Sendle for a special delivery service to me :D

I’m stuck in brisvegas trying to get back to Sydney on QF543. Currently showing a 4hr 20 delay. I called the SST at 1pm to see if they could get me on an earlier flight. No joy, their only advice was go to the airport and try. They will have been having a pretty coughpy day I would expect

Late data point from me. I was flying SYD-MEL that day on the 6pm but called at 9am and SST put me on the 4pm (which was the best they said they could do). It took off pretty close to on time (save for a luggage offload because of pax failed to board. I will never understand how some people can be so brain dead...).

No, never saw that. Inconsistency??
I never actually see anything from P1, except those "briefings".
