I earned my points on international flights and used them to obtain bulk of SC's on domestic.

This morning I received an email offer to go on the 747 simulator and secured a spot for April. Listed as $1200 value if simply paying cash.

Only 8 days till my first flight since making it...

I just told them when they last called that I'm into aviation and had heard about the sim and they said they'd add me to a list.

Costs would be getting to Sydney on the day in question. Waiting for a sale now haha.

I also got the email this morning regarding the B747 sim, I was pretty happy when it says "you and a guest", so have picked me best mate to come along with me to give it a shot.

Its a darn shame they havent offered the A380 sim for free.

I did this last year with my daughter, we were to have the 747 sim experience, which was great, whilst we were there they said we may be able to get you into the A380 as well, which we did and got the chance to spend an hour in that one as well.

Thats great, thanks for sharing, there is hope that QF will do that for me too. Im all confirmed for 22nd May to do it :mrgreen:

Woooohooooo Booked in and confirmed for the 20th March Cant wait.

Apparently they have stopped doing the A380 as it wasnt as good an experience due to the FBW not having as much feel.

They did also mention the 787 Sims in melbourne may be avilable in the future once training has settled down.

Now let me see who should I take with me lol
