Yea I searched everywhere in the t&cs, I couldnt find a passage that would prevent previous PC+ SC rolled over to rollover a second time with PC+. I think there is a point to make, until Qantas fixes the t&cs.The example in the previous post relates to to status support, not points club plus so its simply not relevant to the discussion. Different terms and conditions.
Points club plus talks about status credits. I disagree that the words are vague. Any status credits in your account work for the words in the qantas statement of terms and conditions for points club plus. Whatever we might think, the words are all that should matter in the terms and conditions. If qantas wants not to roll over status credits perpetually then they can change the terms and conditions. They haven't done that and it is hardly qantas customers roll to make allowances for Qantas' possible loose wording. On the other hand Qantas has all the power and they cannot be practically called to account if their behaviour is at odds with published terms and conditions.
What I cannot understand is why people try so hard justify the indefensible.
I cant remember anyone discussing that, probably because those interested in this perk naturally accrue more than 100SC a year anyway, or because we are influenced by the t&cs of the status-extension-with-rollover offers.
I think that to avoid confusion, this specific discussion should ignore status support, status booster, status extension-with-rollover, aka pretend covid never happened.
