Edit: Should also add - am currently Gold, but will probably drop to Silver in a few days with status support ending. Will have lounge access until the end of Jan due to carried over QC membership, so I'm assuming I wouldn't get the lounge access?
This is purely speculation and educated guessing, but I think your QC membership might get the 1 year extension.
I'm currently WP with a 30 June membership anniversary. I also have 2 months of QC membership "in the bank" from when I first attained SG circa 2016. I haven't yet retained WP this year, but my QFF profile shows I have more than 24 months of QC membership:
It's possible this is factoring in a soft landing to SG next year (if I don't retain WP) but I think it's more likely that you can accrue a year of QC membership from Points Club Plus.
Given the past several years of status support I don't think we have any recent anecdotes about exactly how this situation would play out.
To answer your question though, I think it depends how many Woolworths Rewards points you're talking about. If it's like 20k WWR / 10k QFF I'd say go for it - the chance of extended QC by a year, 100SC rollover, extra $50 Hotels voucher, and obvious value of 10k QFF points is compelling. But if it's a significantly higher amount, say 100k WWR / 50k QFF, then I think it's a more difficult gamble on the QC extension.
It could also be worth calling QFF and asking for their confirmation around how the PC+ / QC benefit works in this scenario, and ensure you get an email in writing confirming you would receive the QC extension which you can hold them to if it doesn't play out as advised.
