In 2001, the company formerly known as British Petroleum changed its name to Beyond Petroleum, which at this point is a fairly accurate description of their business units.

And in 2020 they abandoned that rebranding and went back to their roots. Now just BP.

In fairness to BP (or British Petroleum, Beyond Petroleum or simply Burn Petroleum as they are now known) they could never be accused of green washing. After all, their logo has always been green! 😂
 
Still no sign of my ORC from call on friday, interesting others have received while on the call but not me. Will need to send email tonight. I need confidence these ORC DSCs will land (along with the more complex missing ones), otherwise i need to fly more.

Since all these posting problems started, I haven't been able to set or change any challenges. I still seem to be earning points for the daily and weekly step challenges but I can't adjust them or start a new friends steps challenge.

No, seems to be working ok. Try uninstalling/reinstalling. That tends to clear a bunch of ailments on a sick app - pun intended.
 
I think Im going to wait to 24th to follow up the TravelPass one as it has complications of involving TravelPass DSC, mixed cash & award booking, points upgrade on paid leg and change of routing in both directions! Likely too complicated for any offshore people.
Double status credits from Travelpass finally posted this evening making me Platinum until October 2024...
 
Has anyone hit the 250k mark in PC and received the 2500 milestone bonus during this period of delays? Mrs R has been waiting 11 days for the milestone bonus.
 
Is anyone having issues with QF flights on EK not posting?

I have 3 during Feb and one this month not posting as yet. A normal EK flight posted within 48 hours of travel (which was ticketed by EK).
 
Anyone else still chasing QFF for DSC from the 'thanks a million' promotion last year? I booked flights in promotion window, flew in the promotion window, and was an eligible flight/ booking class (received the 'normal' points shortly after each flight as normal - QF1/ QF2 in premium economy booked via Qantas website).

Can't seem to get anyone from FF call centre or Customer Care email to take ownership. Have sent evidence of booking and registration to them too... I'm not being told no, but not getting any action either. Any other suggestions?

Hey @mitchyw -- long time listener, first time caller?

My experience chasing missing DSCs is so vastly different depending on who you get through to at the FFSC. I've had really good agents who know how to validate the bookings and apply the missing DSCs on the spot in the one phone call, and on the flipside others who need to escalate to a "support team" which then requires continuous follow-ups to get resolved.

My usual approach when things are heading towards the latter of the two scenarios is to call up, (politely) express disappointment that the issue has been ongoing and nobody seems to have taken ownership despite multiple calls and emails, ask for the name of the agent you're talking to tell them you'd like them to schedule a call back for a couple of days time for an update. If they don't call back, then call back again and have the new agent chase the previous agent to call you back with an update. Repeat until resolved. I always find making somebody responsible for the issue gets things moving.

Thanks @dylarr - good advice. I pushed for a new SR reference # from the last call and the promise of a call back. Will give them a few more days before I call again.

And yes, first and only post in almost 10 years! I originally joined here for the Qantas Club discount, though eventually hit Gold, then Platinum. This DSC is the difference to get back to Platinum so I'm chasing it down frantically.

I reckon there are many on this forum who wish Qantas and Uncle Alan were as responsive to their requests as this member. I hear certain frequent flyers out of Hobart have been banging on Uncle Alan's door for far more than a decade!
