Qantas Points Not Posting?

There is no consistency. On 31 January, I made transactions that gave me a block of 2000 everyday rewards points and a block of 4000 everyday rewards points. Both triggered auto-transfers. Then my ER account shows that the auto transfer was reversed and 6000 ER points returned. There was a further auto transfer of 2000 ER points made and 1,000 Qantas points posted on my QF account. The other 4,000 ER points have vanished. ER says they have transferred but they do not show up on my QF account. I got bonus points from my purchase of a carbon offset for a flight and for my car-free home in Tasmania on 1 February. I last got wellness points on 17 January.

I am on tenterhooks to see whether the 90,000 Westpac points that should have come last month will come this month. I do hope so as I really don't want to be shackled to this card for yet another month, preventing me signing up for other cards...

Checked my account today and still no recent transactions! A further examination of points accrual reveals the following items I am expecting to receive points for:
  • QF Wellbeing Rewards (last transaction on Dec 22)
  • 250 BP Rewards bonus points (qualifying transaction made back in mid-December)
  • BankWest Transactional Account earnings (normally posts around now)
  • Mercure Melbourne North 7 night stay (usually posts a couple of days after check out which was Jan 22)
In addition to that I'm still waiting to select my QF Green bonus offer (I qualified for that back on the 16th although QF does state it can take up to 3 weeks for the updated status to be reflected).

I suppose my question now is there are a specific person I should call or email I should make to ensure these items get resolved?

I would wait until points start to post again and then see whether your missing points resolve themselves automatically. There is no point in calling anyone now because the system is broken and they are aware of the fact.

How long should I wait? Another week? A month? The next QF flight I'm booked on that will generate SCs and points is in June!

I highly doubt they are aware of the issue given the number of people commenting on the issue and the fact that we are now closing in on two weeks without this issue being resolved!

FWIW, it seems to me that the issue is with points that are transferred to QF in batches, such as from banks. Points that are posted immediately they’re earned such as from Woolworths and my lunch today at the Meat & Wine Co are still working. At least that’s my experience.

Not so - I had some Everyday Rewards points posted and some not posted from the same transaction - and that was after the initial transfer bounced back.

Actually, the common thread is only QF Well Being points MIA.

Well that’s my experience. Points from my ANZ credit card did not post overnight as expected.

Nobody is disputing your own personal experience, but you are inferring a rule from only a couple of data points that apply to you personally, and you have not factored in other people's data points which do not fit with your inferred rule.

I am just posting what my experience is as a data point. I clearly said that it was my experience. Obviously it differs from yours.

I had Qantas Shopping Points from a Dyson purchased 4 months ago and Accor points form recent Sofitel stay post overnight.

Still waiting on those QF Hotel and DSCs though, will lodge a claim at 6 week mark for both.

QF shopping always seems to take ~4 mths in our experience. Maybe they’re waiting in case peeps buy stuff and just return it….

QF Hotels are regularly 6 wks on the dot.

So would it be fair to say Qantas hoovered up your points? 😂

C'mon. There have been issues with Qantas IT that haven't been resolved in years!! Two weeks is but a heartbeat.

Name just one thing wrong with Qantas?! Can't be done! 😂
Check out Bonza and report back how quick their points post.

But that would be a bit like comparing AF First class and their Fillet Mignon and South West‘s honey roasted nuts. 😂
