Qantas Salt & Pepper Squid thread

I'd wolf down as much of that S&P squid as you can before you get on that flight on Qantas. Just flew F DFW to SYD and all 3 courses of the dinner were inedible. Got through half of each course with one glass of some $50 champers as the stewardess forgot to come back with my dinner wine. A shocker it was.
The menu ex-DFW is usually the same as ex-LAX.
Can you post it along with photos or descriptions in this thread?

Don't ever recall QF having a $50 champagne on their F menu

Wasn’t planning to eat onboard so had 4 courses which was my lunch and dinner. I’m beyond stuffed at the moment! 🤣

sorry for polluting this thread with non S&P pic but thought the Sin F unique dishes (laksa and grilled skate) could be of interest to some.

Is that a true representation of the colour, or is it just the lighting?
It’s not the same as my naked eye. It’s taken on an iPhone with flash - so make whatever allowances you think appropriate.

The green wasn’t actually that dark.

But tbh, the squid was slightly over cooked.

Did you eat all of that chilli?
For those complaining mentioning the lack of redness, is the green chilli sauce not hot enough?

No; I'm not a big chili eater; anyway, the stuff they served on the side was pretty mild. The sauce was tangy rather than hot.

LHR. Note that the S&P squid is available to everyone, not just OWE/F level pax.
It was quite nice.
