Guys I'm in the middle of booking a flight now.. at which stage do they ask you for your QFF number ?
Haven't come across it and I'm already at the credit card stage...
Did I miss it somewhere ?

It's on the "Who will travel" screen where they ask for your name & phone number.
Don't worry you can add the QFF info later through Qantas.

Really ? Hmmm strange that I missed it as I was looking out for it.
So this booking will be added to my Qantas "Manage my bookings" without me having to enter my QFF number to expedia ?

I'm amazed this hasn't been picked up by mainstream press - these are surely the cheapest prices QF have ever, EVER offered to SIN and LHR?!

There is link on that page titled: Frequent flyer information (optional)

I'm not an expert but IMO you would have to ring Qantas to get them to link your QFF # once you receive the confirmation code from Expedia.

The Qantas record number is on the Expedia email, just key that in to the QF site and add the number, you will need that number to bring it up in manage my bookings until the FF number is in there.

There you go even easier :)
Thanks Markis.

I'm so tempted to book another flight but can't justify it.

It's on the first screen as you start the booking after you click "Book Now" after selecting your flights:

My booking showed up in my QFF account immediately so for the sake of simplicity I would start over so you can enter it in when you book rather than trying to add it later..

Ok cheers guys.
I just started again and entered the FF number in from the link on the page where you put name, ph number, etc.
Seems an easier work around.

LOL for sure, I thought you had already completed it.

Enjoy your flights.

What? and bite one of the hands that feed them?

I have seen many a full page Qantas advertisement and they don't come cheaply.

Hah, I can't see that happening! The total cost of my flights to SYD-BKK return AND a 5 star resort for 4 nights over the June long weekend came in at $840. I'd rather keep that locked away in this forum :)

I booked two flights on .br about an hour ago.
No confirmation email and the flights haven't appeared in My Bookings yet despite me providing my QFF number.

Should I be worried ? Or are things pretty kick back over in Brazil ?

Given it first popped up on Ozbargain, its hardly a well kept secret.

A big thanks to everyone in this thread for the heads up and tips. I've just booked a MEL-SIN return for late-November for the princely sum of $370ish using the hotel booking hack on Expedia. I've never been to Singapore before but at this price I couldn't resist, I doubt you could get there on Scoot for less...

what is a hotel Booking Hack ?

Had a problem with Zupper overnight... I have again decided to book a 'domestic' flight... via SIN. Anyway got an email in the middle of the night saying thanks but Qantas wanted to know if the dates were right (because only 1 night in SIN)... and to phone them within a couple hours or otherwise they'd cancel it. Of course they cancelled it.

Not sure if I can be bothered going through the hassle again with them, will rebook with Expedia even though more expensive... just something to keep in mind if anyone doing short turn-arounds, lord help them if I had booked a same day arrival/departure like I have done before!

See post #404, a good find by GalaxyNexus.

Basically, if you add a hotel to your booking with Expedia the 121BRL booking fee is waived. The cheapest hotel in SIN is about 63BRL pn (a backpackers I think) which means you're about 58BRL (circa $29) better off.

Be patient. Don't be concerned it can take up to 24 hours.
