True lol I wasn't expecting $570 but still a touch cheaper would be nice.

I suppose it is a touch cheaper A$1481 versus A$1610 for the same dates on the QF website.
Guess I should grab it with both hands before it disappears ! lol

cough, tried to book per-sin next year. Went to payment page and price changed to full Y class....

I think We need to use a Brazilian address. I now Can't search the fares. It seems to have detected our Ip address.

It seems to be charging double the amount as in it is seeing the flights as being one way at for example 1240 Mel - Sin. this used to be the price for a return. Clicked on the same price for the return leg and total is now 2480 real so perhaps either a programme error a ploy to charge customers in Australia More Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Just made a dummy to Singapore from Mel depart 5/11/13 return 9/11/13 and total price for 2 passengers including hotel for one night 2430 Real so seems to be working now :D

Just got a similar result - MEL-SIN return for 1 person Oct 25 - Oct 31, R1,200, so appears to be fine. Used iPhone with Chrome browser, was able to get to credit card page.

It certainly isn't resolved here. Regardless of which IP address I use (even Brazilian) the prices are updated at the checkout, before I even enter in an Australian billing address.

I also notice that, having tried about 20 dummy searches, the availability on the Australian connecting flights seems to be disappearing. I wonder if expedia places some sort of temporary hold on the seat? Might give it some time for any outstanding sessions to expire and try again later...

My initial problems started last night when trying to pay on the CC page, not before. The problem I described above has only started today.

First time They advised price changed from the cheap <400 ticket to over 2k! Post payment page.

Subsequent times failed to pull up the cheap fares.

Kept trying until I could pull up the fares. Then changed billing country to Brazil, using Just address and it worked.

Wow. I'm not on Chrome and so no translating but the dummy booking I've done offers Marina Bay Sands in Singapore for R134 per night.

I'm not sure if anything has changed, but I just got the flights I was looking SYD-MNL for ~$520pp. Very happy. I'll do the connections from Brisbane separately (expedia doesn't show anything available for under $190 BNE-SYD one way, but there are still sale fares on QF website).

In Chrome, try using incognito mode.
All this does is stop the site being aware of a current/previous session - not storing cookies. It doesn't seem to fix the unpredictable massive price inflation at checkout (I don't think it is anything to do with the client-side browser, seems to be more like a problem with expedia's interface to the QF booking system).
