Yes it seems like they can. Anything that has the PayPal AP (aus Post) on the statement isn’t paying.

Also looks like it’s not counting towards the $3000 spend for the bonus points.

I had govt spend count towards my min spend, however as expected I received no points for the transaction

I changed my ACT bus card (MyWay) auto topup to my Qantas Premier card, and set it to the minimum of $20, but unfortunately the next payment was processed just after my first statement was issued, so I don't know if it earns points or not. Anyone else know?

Just received my latest statement: No points for the MyWay card topup, nor my other punt, ACT tip fees.

FWIW, I’ve been using my QANTAS Premier card extensively in Europe for the past 6 weeks with no acceptance issues.

My 60,000 points arrived last week, I don't like the phone text to view the statement, what a pain in the neck.
For purchasing Qantas flights is probably beneficial but for anything else it will stay at home unused.

I was reading The Australian newspaper with an article saying that it was probably in the consumers best interest to switch banks to get the best banking and house loan deals. My brother recently finished his new house and in the process changed banks, will look at changing banks ANZ seems to offer a nice bonus and has a good Qantas credit card offering at the moment.

Consider Qudos Bank, formally Qantas Credit Union. I’ve had 2 properties with with them for 2 years. At the time, they had the best rates and best QFF rewards per month, ongoing.

I get around 7,000 qff points every month, at interest rates I couldn’t get elsewhere.

It also was free to refinance to Qudos.

So now being renamed the Qantas Premier Platinum credit card

I wonder what other changes are afoot?

60,000 signup bonus expired yesterday, new offer today.

Anyone tried churning this card for a second time? I couldn't see anything specifically in the Ts & Cs precluding existing customers from the sign-on bonus when the card first came out.

Tempted, although you probably won't be able to pro rata recover the annual fee.
$149 for 75k is a good deal, even for 60k it was too - for those not currently eligible for the ANZ no annual fee first year promo.
I think the waived annual fee offers are getting scarce now.

Good to hear 75K point deal. Am I eligible for this if I just got Virgin Money (Citi) credit 2 months ago?

Yes, the other card may be Citi - but this is not relevant to getting bonus points on the Qantas premium

Thank you Steady. Glad to hear that. Did you receive bonus QFF points after you had Virgin Credit Card? I am thinking how to spend 3000 bucks in 90 days now.

No, I didn't have a Virgin Citi....
The two cards are entirely different products
