EDIT: just noticed the SKU for the mystery wine is “MYSPENHROS22” whilst the SKU for the one I suggested is “PENHROS22”. Additionally, both listings show the same original (non-discounted) price. Coincidence?
Very amusing find!

Truth be told, I’m having a bit of success now unlocking the identities of some of the other mystery wines. Detective Brew is on the case!Very amusing find!

Just remember that this wine (2019 vintage) has been around the $30 mark within the last 12 months. Given this I wouldn't be paying top dollar for it.Buy Mystery 98 Point Bold Cabernet Sauvignon | Qantas Wine

Could be a great deal! Although pricing seems more favour able here --> Pertaringa Tipsy Hill Cabernet Sauvignon Vertical 6PK
No idea if there is a significant difference in the vintages, but I do note that the Langton's price is for the 2019 vintage (vs 2018 from Qantas).Just remember that this wine has been around the $30 mark within the last 12 months.
Langtons, April 2023:

The ratings you find may vary, but there isn't, at least in my view (and it appears others as well) much difference. Don't get me wrong - I'm with you on that. Was simply pointing out the difference in vintage. It's up to the individual (or others more qualified than I) to determine whether that made the Q Wines option a "good" deal for their needs/wants.The ratings you find may vary, but there isn't, at least in my view (and it appears others as well) much difference.

Wine buying is all about buying at a price you're happy with. If you want to pay $100 a bottle for this wine go ahead. Me? I can't justify that price given the $30 offering and being confident that that price wasn't an abberation. I've seen it for $40 to $50 in the past 12 months on a number of occasions.
Didn't Richard call langtons to complain about the price? The ratings you find may vary, but there isn't, at least in my view (and it appears others as well) much difference. This suggests 2019 better than 2018:

Same scenario with me. Wine to be delivered Friday yet points arrived in my account already. My wine has not been delivered but is expected on Friday, but the points have just landed into my QFF account.
Agree that speaking to them directly is beneficial, I now have my own "Private Wine Advisor."
Enjoy your litres @kangarooflyer88!
Thanks for that. I've found that if you put the SKU into the search bar (minus the MYS, or course) it will take you directly to the normal offer!Possibly this? Same vintage and relatively similar descriptions… suspect the bottle image in the mystery wine listing is a “red” herring.

No probs Works for some - but definitely not all - mystery offers. I am finding though that you can decipher many of the mystery wine deals based on the SKUs. Even if they're not quite the same, there's enough of a clue in them to work it out. Thanks for that. Yes - been there. Not sure whether to put it here on the Qantas call centre thread but I need to let off some steam:
I've been shopping big time with Qantas wine since the early Epicure days but never really had to call about an account matter with them before so I have only ever spoken to the lovely "Consultants" who want to sell you something.
But if you press "1" for deliveries or accept inquiries, oh boy, was that different: The WORST Philippine call centre agent I've encountered in years (and that means something)- zero clue, zero empowerment besides confirming your details once again (Of course, I had already typed in my number and password etc.), endless waits on hold and then "sorry, cannot do" on the simplest of requests possible.
It was a total waste of about half an hour of my life and it was a truly torturous experience. And that callcentre lady, just the worst of the worst.
Think you're right in terms of which wine is actually the mystery wine, however... assuming it is correct, then I think you're not quite right about the price being the same. The mystery wine is $119 for a full dozen, whereas the labeled wine looks to be $119 for a half dozen.i think they're onto us.
This one below has a new SKU following a mixed pack - $19 a bottle

metala white label is already $19 so the same price in a mystery wine or fully labeled...
Ahh. Looks like they fixed it up so it's cheaper. My point still stands about a little extra sleuthing thoughThink you're right in terms of which wine is actually the mystery wine, however... assuming it is correct, then I think you're not quite right about the price being the same. Yeah, I noticed that some are certainly easier to identify than others.Ahh. Looks like they fixed it up so it's cheaper. My point still stands about a little extra sleuthing though
