Qantas Wine latest offering

Having shadowfax Chardonnay at the moment.... pretty gross.:/ bad bottle I think...
Bought the mixed dozen whites and this was the first one we tried. Absolutely loved it as did Mrs Nick. I've actually been instructed to get some more but might wait for a points offer of some description. Pricing not bad either, $25 on Epiqure, $31-32 at Dans

I think I Just had a bad bottle :(, invaded you are wondering, I did drink it out of a chardy glass.: )

When I received this email and looked at the list they would need to offer me more than 10% for most of those.

I can see why they are trying to move them

We also found the Shadowfax chardonnay pretty awful. Tried 3 different bottles to make sure. Made me realise that Epiqure don't offer any satisfaction guarantee like others we use (vinomofo, laithwaites), or a process for return if you think you have a bad bottle or batch.

Was the wine actually faulty or you simply didn't like it? Do the others accept returns on wines just because you don't like the wine, but it is without fault?

As for faulty wines, no matter where you buy them from in Australia, you should be able to return them for a full refund.

Both the other wine services I named will happily organise returns at their cost even if you just don't like a wine. As for the Shadowfax, hard to say. I had a few glasses and thought it just tasted like a not too nice cheap white. Mrs G is the resident white drinker and said it gave her a nasty headache just from 1 glass.

Comparison time for Champagne lovers - Dan Murphy has a deal.

Got a delivery this morning - a 6 pack of the Mamre Brook and my Premium Icons Red 6 pack. Strange, considering they were ordered 3 days apart - and the delivery link had said the Icons had been delivered last week. Was about to ring Epicure and tell them the delivery guy had drunk them...
