Qantas Wine latest offering

Cool

Heathcote Estate Shiraz 2008 $36.80 at Dans

Wirra Wirra RSW Shiraz 2008 $59 at Nicks , 2010 only at Dans for $56

Yalumba Menzies Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 $42.75 at Dans (2008), 42.99 at Nicks for 2007

Thats a good saving at $195 even without the bonii

Actually, those Dan's prices are for much younger vintages for two of the three (Heathcote Estate 2011, Wirra Wirra 2010), arguably making Q even better value (unless they were worse vintages).

Interesting that your quoting Nick's prices when they're based in Melb and you're based in Brisbane! Didn't know they were that well known!

Drank a 2010 Heathcote Estate Shiraz a couple of weeks ago that I purchased for about $37 from BWS when they were offering 500 bonus points and 30% off. I thought that was a great deal! Nice drop!

I've not tried the Wirra Wirra - anyone care to offer an opinion?

Anyone else going to the epiQure Ultimate Wine Fair in Melbourne? I've just booked for myself and three mates. A day of good wine and gourmet food sounds like a pretty good offer for $60.

Just got this offer with 4K bonus:

Wines | Qantas epiQure

Too pricy for our tastes. Might have to check out some of the offers posted above.

Same. I thought it was a bit too much even with the bonus points. Also, I've hit my 48 bottles now so am less motivated to buy from epiQure with my free membership expiring in November.

Considering you can spend half and get 3K bonus as well as save some serious $$$.

I bought 2 tickets a couple of weeks ago. Good wine, good food, can't go wrong

Definitely too pricey and Wolf Blass is a bit overrated IMO. Never had a Wolf Blass that I wasn't disappointed in.

I'm heading to the Sydney Wine Fair.

Haven't seen any good offers lately, and even the double points (6 per $) wasn't as good value to me as buying a fare in the QF sale. Earned more points and that's including the hotel cost which earned nothing. Yes, I get that I'd have additional bottles of wine, but nothing has really interested me in that regard too.

Wonder what will happen when my membership expires. I heard lots were given a complimentary second year, but if I'm not I might sign up with that code for a bottle of Taittinger. What's the consensus on letting your membership lapse and rejoining to get the bonus points on first and fourth cases again?

Can only agree with that quote!
I can't state that, but certainly disappointment in the last 25 [-]trees[/-] years.

A bit different up until the mid eighties (a grey label went for around $15 and a black around $30) ... Then Aussie big reds hit the world map ... :-|

I think your autocorrect needs a stern talking to.
