Qantas Wine latest offering

For $29, the 2010 Bin 28 is supposed to be a good vintage

I'm sure it is... and it's always been a good price, I was just hoping there'd be more of an incentive to buy ;) I have unfortunately been corrupted to the point where I wont spend my money for anything less than "bonus points" :p it's quite sad really!

Has anybody been to the wine dinner events on epiqure? What are they like? Are they generous with the wines/food, previous non-epiqure wine dinners i have been to are virtually unlimited......Thanks for any replies!!

My Veuve arrived today.
FYI it's gift boxed individual bottles... Maybe I should buy some more ;)

Has anyone received their points yet? Last order, the points arrived the same day... This one, 3 days now and no points yet.

No points either but love the presentation in the gift boxes. I think I will need to buy some more as well as they would be great gifts, the only problem being I won't want to give them away!!!

Another vintage of the century according to the people at Penfolds marketing. That is until 2011 is released of course. No thanks. Much better value wine to be had else where.

I did the Taittinger launch event last year. Just champagne not food, but it was generous. a few glass of NV, a glass of $100 a bottle stuff, 2 or 3 glass of $250 a bottle stuff, and about 4 glass of Rose. Plus a half bottle to take home.

Thanks for that medhead. I'll keep an eye out for upcoming events. I wanted to get a few friends along, didn't want it to be a dud event because i'd look silly!

There are a couple if events listed now that I'm going to try to attend. The taittinger one was both an industry and qantas event. So the epiqure hosts were there and a heap of first choice and Dan Murphy's types and others. Epiqure people introduced around the qantas members to each other.

No food at a booze event!! They'll be picking me off the floor after my 37th glass !!

Got the EpiQure email on Wednesday at 3:36PM entitled "New 2013 Penfolds Bin pre-release". Now this whets my appetite being a collector of Penfolds.

Then Dan Murphy's send me an email 15 hours later on the same subject.

It does make it easy to compare prices (although epiQure will win on points accrual)

Just got an email with a really good offer:
