Just received mine showing Platinum about 30 mins ago

I actually had to resend a copy of my VA card last week, as my status expired on the 03/06, they were happy to accept a digital card which goes into 2021.

I finally received an email tonight saying the service request is being processed after previously receiving no feedback. I submitted on the 20th May and sent a follow up email on the 4th June. So fingers crossed it follows the same process as others and I'm status matched within the next week.

The email I got said the membership pack will be sent to the registered mailig address in due course, not sure how long that means tho.

I applied on 20th, still not upgraded.

Did receive an email though today saying it would be processed within the next 10 days

Think we should consider us virgin refugees lucky on this status match, may or may not get full use out of it internationally, but I'm happy knowing AJ surely not overly happy about this deal. Instant QF lounge access to those on their 1st QF flight.
Real losers are the QF current status holders who'll be in crowded lounges for next 12 months.

Q?: Requalify is 150 Qpoints for Gold but I’m Wondering if I get 300 Qpoints does that mean I get platinum or that’s only for those

If it helps, I applied for status match on 20 May - I received my 'we are processing your request' email about a week ago and confirmation of gold status today --- I originally sent pic of velocity card + screenshot, but also followed up a few days later with velocity statement (after reaching out to velocity) - as others have said, I hope I get a chance to use the new-found status!

Got an email from QR saying that I am now a Gold member ..... Now I am trying to work out what to do with it as I don't really plan for fly much for the next 12 months anyway.
