QF AMEX Ultimate Card - 100k bonus

Hi All, just looking for confirmation please.... currently have the Platinum Edge card and a work supplied AMEX card (in the company's name) to which I sweep points. Wanting to take up this offer but looking for confirmation that all will be OK.

the work card should have no bearing on this. If you only have the one Membership Rewards Amex card and have never held a direct American Express QF card you will almost certainly get the bonus points - while DrRalph is correct that no one here can confirm it, I would suggest the risk of not getting the bonus points is extremely low and really unlikely.

make sure you use a referral to get the extra 10k (110,000 QFF points) for yourself and help a fellow AFFer out

I had a personal-liability corporate amex gold card in 2013-ish and received the bonus points on a previous QF Ultimate offer ($250 annual fee and 75k points). I got it confirmed from amex in writing that I would still be eligible for the points before applying. The points didn't credit automatically, but I took screenshots of the offer and amex credited the points and lowered the annual fee on request.

As steady said, head over and use a referral link to get an extra 10k points for yourself and gift another forum user a few at the same time!

I can confirm that you can receive the full 112,500 QFF bonus points if you have a current Platinum Edge card. Thus, if you already have an AMEX-issued card, you should be eligible to receive the bonus points.

Got Amex Velocity platinum with 110,000 bonus pts in 2015
Migrated the card over the phone to Platinum Edge in October 2016 with a 15k bonus

Thoughts on probability of getting 110k bonus?

you should have no issues assuming you have cancelled the Velocity Platinum as Amex only allows you to hold 2 of their CC at the same time + a Charge card

Right, bit the bullet and applied for this plus the Westpac Black at the same time hoping to combine pulls on the credit score. No instant approval or even pending on either though. Think there was a "we'll need to go over this closer" type msg from 1 but I thought I would have got an email with the application number etc from at least one of them. I know it's not a business day but figured there still would be some kind of auto response in an email.
Guessing ill know more tomorrow.

My understanding from annacdotal evidence is yes. I have this card currently and plan on applying for the Explorer before the end of the month. Do make sure you use a referral link to apply for an additional 10k pts on top of the standard 100k though. Referrers will benefit too with an extra 20k. My understanding is that most people gain the bonus when they apply for Amexes in different Award Programs, but when in the same CURRENT program that not all are successful.

Could be that it takes a couple of months for the more referral points to come. Can take up to 3 months ...... So you could see a flurry of points coming through.
