anyone know the dates for travelling ??
I managed to book one of these for October 28 to BNE. $801.04 on Expedia.com.au.
Which currency were you charged by?
On QF site price is $NZD895 which is about $AUD800.
Most probably AUD, when booking using expedia.com.au. Need to use expedia.co.nz if you want to pay in NZD.
I thought so but wanted to double-check if there is a better deal before booking on QF.

thanks.. just thinking whether worth booking via expedia for the 0.08% cashback or directly via qantas website..
Thanks for the heads-up qantas21. I booked my ticket a few months ago and HW were quite a bit cheaper than Exp but it's helpful to know for anyone else looking at booking the flight.Helloworld credit card fee of $AUD16.02 is slightly higher than expedia.com.au of $AUD14.00.

I actually regret not buying directly through Qantas because I assume I'll be better looked after if there's any problems (I expect that QF would simply tell me to ring my travel agent), and I would have got bonus QF points by booking through my Amex card. Ah well, I've learnt for next time.
Yes, I did that.
