Re: Qantas excludes ASAs in U bucket from bonus SC promos (effective for new promos??

Don't risk it. The mASA is valuable enough IMHO

no risk needs to be taken. still availability on the flights I originally booked.. will post back the results of how I went...

Good luck. I'm guessing Domestic vs International then ?
I find the International JASA seats go too quick on long haul routes.

I find the International JASA seats go too quick on long haul routes.

results:

cancelled the original booking (domestic JASA) and rebooked for the exact same flights with exact same co-payment on the same phone call. :)

cancelled FASA (SYD-DXB-SYD, was told there would be a 5000 point penalty when originally booked to cancel but the agent confirmed there will be no penalty) to see if availability goes back into the pool. Can't see availability for the seat I cancelled yet but can see a seat available on the previous day so will just book that if the original one does not return. The return leg is after the end of the promotion so I assume will miss out on the 50% bonus status credits?

I received the same also. This will be very handy coming into Christmas and the new year.
