Welcome aboard Simon, and yes - some of us have a very good idea of who you are. I enjoy following the NBN debates with interest and how you're trying to influence better consumer and commercial outcomes for all players.
Nerd worship over, I believe there are be some around here who have contacts within the industry and at QF but it would not be our role to speak on their behalf. If they are willing to use their connections I'm sure they will get in touch and come forward as appropriate.
I won't repeat what I've said earlier in this thread, but I'm sure from your reading it has become obvious this problem is spread across multiple major Qantas ports, both in coverage area, coverage quality, and network performance. Personally I don't bother with the lounge wifi any more, and just use a 3G WWAN connection.
