Is there a specific reason why we lost the member list and the ability to sort members by the number of posts? Any chance of getting this feature back as I cannot what harm can be caused by leaving the feature on AFF?

Thanks. I got that far but have not then been able to get the attachment into a post.

Did you get to this stage?

If so then all should be ok. If you then want that to appear as an image rather than a thumbnail image then post the post with the tumbnail, then click on the thumbnail and that will give you the url for the image that you can put in using [ img ] [/ img] tags.

Does that help?

For > 2k images, I upload to the Flyertalk Photo Gallery and simply link from there.

I can do from a photo gallery just trying to use one of my own files/images.

It is a two/three/four step process:

Click manage attachments
Browse to find the file
Click upload
Click close window

Remember that some IT environments wont let you upload files. Unlikely and issue if you are working on your personal computer.

Wasnt this removed when the board was accused of being "hacked" and some people got spam email?

Thanks for the help however I have not resolved the issue but will worry about it again when I have more time. I get all the way to the end and it just does not work for some reason :evil:

I'll try on my laptop which is a little newer and doesn't have some of the issues demonstrated by my PC.
