Anybody used 'Easy Bill Pay' today? Brand new landing page - new apps available - and the speed of operation when using is like 1,000 times faster - so much easier.
Seems the've also forgotten to even mention the presence of GST, so the rate is more like 2.145% for businesses that aren't GST registered. The link on their site that talks about the value of points is also a bit ridiculous. This company is a fantastic example of new age fintech twaddle. I say that not knowing squat about them, but reading the first ~20 or so posts on their twitter feed. Just a mish mash of posts about blockchain, fintech conferences, the end of the cash economy and bbqs with no sign whatsoever of customers.
This could only be a late stage pivot to some scheme to pay for those bbqs.
It's our really 0.8% surcharge to pay by Amex?Anybody used 'Easy Bill Pay' today? Brand new landing page - new apps available - and the speed of operation when using is like 1,000 times faster - so much easier.

did pending really allow you to get double points? I tried a few times and was told charges needed to be posted in time for points to be awarded. any tips?Pending is all that's required. This has been confirmed by the Sydney credit office, noted on file and delivered with a passionate guarantee with the person giving me their number if it doesn't. I'm pretty confident that they'll post overnight going on a very long track record of payments via RP.

I was using an alternate payment platform (as mentioned elsewhere on AFF), but now restricting payments to no-surcharge until I reevaluate. My business card is still earning 2:1 on restaurant, travel, accommodation, with a 2:1 transfer until 1 July, so still trying to maximise that.Is there anyone here still using RP or alternatives to pay their bills? Or you have moved back to EFT payment?

My transaction was actually on 12 april but points posted after 15 April. Customer service said I could not transfer out until the points posted. For the purposes of the points posting at the old earn rates, as long as the transaction has a transaction date of the 14th and earlier, you were fine.
For the doubling of points, this is where there may be a difference based on whether something settled in time for the 15th or not. Currently, no one knows how that will work. Time will tell.

There may be a few transactions eg. restaurants on the plat charge, that may have earned at 3ppd post-transfer to airline (old earn rate) but didn't make the cut due to being last minute. These may essentially then have earned 1.5ppd (under the new transfer rates) due to missing the doubling cut off.
Forgive me Father .... I totally forgot about a 6 figure tax payment. Yes, I used RewardPay today.
WHy not use Ferni ?
I've noticed that EBP credit card transactions are now showing in my internet banking as "Fox Symes Debt Solutions" rather than "EBP Sydney", however, on the card statement, it just shows "EBP Sydney". Perhaps a case of long vs short merchant name and which appears where, but I can't say I find the concept of "Debt Solutions" appearing on my cards very appealing, for transactions that are merely bill payments!Anybody used 'Easy Bill Pay' today?
