OK So i've booked my flights. Arriving on QF at 0855 and departing on the last flight out around 1930.

Anyone else flying in around that time? IT was the earliest QF flight I could get (I won't fly JQ to get in an hour earlier).

If the bus hire is 'by the hour' rather than distance, any chance it could swing by the airport to pick me/others up?

Assuming that everybody is happy to get a bus, I don't see why not. We could then go straight to the BV from there.

Yeah, my suggestion was about saving cash money not cost. But ool-ADL would be 50 SC return.

If we can fill 10+ seats, this would be a fair price I think.

My benchmark for wine tours is $50-$100 for 8hrs (both bus and tour guide). Our price would be at the lower end of this given we aren't paying for a "tour guide" or lunch through the bus/tour company.

Even if it's 9 on a 13 pax bus it's better value than 7 on a 7

Trying to do a JASA (slim pickings as I left it too late ), if there's no JASA available, I might consider taking up the remaining spot (if it remains outstanding).

Don't know how I missed this .... I'm going to move heaven & earth today to try to get flights for this. Will advise ASAP. (Have been a Stonewaller for as long as I can remember.)

Shame you can't make it RooFlyer, a few others in the same situation for various reasons.

It appears as though there are a few Stonewallers on AFF so we might need to make an annual event out of this.

After speaking with Buzz at Xmas drinks, myself and a +1 are a definite maybe! I already tentatively have something on that day, but if it doesn't happen (and I think it probably won't!) we will be there - assuming of course there are still spots available when we find out.

I will ring Des's Mini Bus Hire tomorrow (hopefully open) and book a 13 seater.
