It doesn't bother me but you may get into a spot of bother asking on AFF.If anyone happens to not be taking up their full allocation of BP, this lowly bud burst would graciously opt to scoop it up (apparently you can send it over to someone else with an account?).
Thanks for pointing it out - happy to remove, didn't realise I contravened any rules. I did just double check then, technically should be fine since I'm not soliciting a trade or sale, just a benefactor gifting their unused allocation. However, might defeat the point of the wider discussion of this thread as I'm sure a lot of people might be interested resulting in a lot of spam.It doesn't bother me but you may get into a spot of bother asking on AFF.
My half bottles arrived this week so will try soon. I love the winefront guys but I find they are a little harsh on the Rockford wines for some reason.Has anyone tried the latest BP? I have an opportunity to get some for the first time, but am a bit worried after the last couple of reviews on Winefront..
What did they have to say about it? I haven’t tried and of the latest releases besides a tasting at the door for the 2017. But I would recommend the 2017 rifle range if anyone can get their hands on it.Has anyone tried the latest BP? They have the 2017 BP 90 pts, and the 2015 89 pts. What did they have to say about it? I haven’t tried and of the latest releases besides a tasting at the door for the 2017. But I would recommend the 2017 rifle range if anyone can get their hands on it.

I think the Frugal has been sold out for a while.2020 Frugal Farmer and 2016 Vintage Port sold out!
What did you think of the lunch? I had one booked for September but had to cancel obviously so hopefully get to my first one next year sometime. That's a bugger about the port! I'm there tomorrow for the Stonewaller lunch and probably would have picked up a bottle. Oh well. I'm sure I'll spend the money on something else

Nice, sounds great. I was going to take a few friends who are big drinkers - do you think they just keep topping you up or is there the option to pay for more wine? I'd be happy to pay for more but interested to get an idea on volumes. To give you an idea, these guys would easily fly through 2+ bottles each over a 3 hour sitting.I thought it was excellent. It was well run with excellent food. Wine serves were generous too. The company wasn't too shabby either.

Ha, they're not rowdy - far from it. I don't think being big drinkers always equates to being a yobbo. They just enjoy drinking good wine. It's not a piss up. I think if you're taking mates to get loaded, you're taking them to the wrong kind of lunch. I'd say this is more on the refined side, there to enjoy and appreciate the wines rather than get legless and rowdy.
There were 12 guests and I'm guessing two bottles of each wine opened. There was an initial pour (probably a 150ml pour), followed by a top up of 100ml to 150ml.
