There's a booming second hand market for Thermomix ... skip the party and save some $$. Of course no warranty.
The no warranty would be worth skipping the party. There's a booming second hand market for Thermomix ... skip the party and save some $$. Of course no warranty.
As @VPS said, it's the Welcome to Thermomix. The only way to buy a new one. What is this demo party? Sounds like a cult initiation ceremony.
Make sure you pick a public address for handover then.Too late, its been purchased.
The cult leader lives 15min away apparentlt
I did have one and really liked it. Can't remember the name but think it also seared? Just one of the usual brands. It was quite large so when I downsized I donated it. Never had any explosionsAny one into pressure cookers? Recommendations sought please thanks
Mum used one on the farm all the time - soups stews etc. I'm sure the pressure cooker was fine but the product was never great. She wasn't a great cook except for biscuits!!Any one into pressure cookers? Recommendations sought please thanks

I dont want the electric ones with menu buttons - just a "dumb" one i can use on the induction stoveI did have one and really liked it
IIRC the recommendation is not to fill the pot up to the top. Maybe halfway so the presssure relief valve does not get blocked by debris ?Never had any explosions
I have a Silit stove top one that is good and has done the job its supposed, to but I don't use is much and would not class myself as "into pressure cookers..."I dont want the electric ones with menu buttons - just a "dumb" one i can use on the induction stove
Buffalo makes large ones 30L but discontinued the 21L and 16L in the same design but they have a 20L and 15L with bakelite handles - though can't get in AU. Ill try Amazon.

I remember having a super fancy kettle for - boiling water. Pain in the butt. Went to the electrical store and asked for one that just boiled water to replace it. Better.I dont want the electric ones with menu buttons - just a "dumb" one i can use on the induction stove

Yes. But to be sure, I added it to my cart.Is it because its a dotcomdotau site?
Apparently we are getting a "retro" Smeg temperature selectable kettle. Im pretty sure water only boils at 100⁰C but apparently not..super fancy kettle for - boiling water.
Wow, you are buying me one? , thanks for your generosity.I added it to my cart.
option for separate/individual halves is versatile, but how often needed? is using a silicone liner difficult?
Sorry, can't afford it. My wallet is hurting after having just bought a new Dyson Gen5 Detect Complete + a Wash G1. Remains to be seen whether the Wash G1 stays or gets returned to Dyson, but I'm confident the vacuum is here to stay.Wow, you are buying me one? , thanks for your generosity.
glad to hear - liners are easier to clean than basketsVery happy with the purchase and as everything is non stick, haven't had the need for any silicone mats.
