so what reason did they provide ?
Read the thread, Melba.
so what reason did they provide ?
ring them yourself..A couple of points. Firstly the words that weren't your words did not say that self serve was always available.
B) your experience does not match the words that you reported that were not your words
And 3) the words you reported agree with other experiences that self serve is not always available
I guess from that we can conclude that you've always been lucky to be there at the self service time. Well done.
can't be bothered unless you can give me a page number, Syd.Read the thread, Melba.
has anyone ever accused you of being supercilious ?...or smug ?....it goes well with your list of AFF achievements....I couldn't be bothered personally displaying mine as it ultimately means very little....it is a fool's paradise.Hmmm. It amazes you that so very few people were aware that they (self serve drinks) have always been available while you were in the lounge?
Sorry, are you famous, that we should know of your past experiences in the lounge? Is there a twitter feed we should follow where we will know what's there when you are in the lounge.
AFFers want to know.
Friday night, wine and nothing better to doOK, now we are getting Monty Python! "You people" ? "Terrorists" ?
Please, if nothing else, learn some semblance of correct grammar. Use of the ellipsis is just lazy, showing an inability to convey complete thoughts or concepts. Didn't you say goodbye, Melba?

ok....are you aware that whenever a police person asks "how many drinks have you had"...the standard answer is "a couple"...this is human nature....I wasn't there, but you were the ones drinking, not the staffOkay, I'll keep feeding. That we had drunk 7 rounds each... Instead of the 4 that we had actually drunk across 4 hours. And still no self serve wine...
They may be put out "every single day" but there are definitely periods during the day where they are put away.Ok...so I just rang the first lounge in Melbourne...took me 2 seconds, and asked them if the wines are available for self serve every day, and her response was that yes, every single day !...no exception...and often they are put out as soon as there are enough guests, so from the early hours......so your perception that they were not out was incorrect. (as were all the others who were unaware of this)
And right there - from the mouth of a mod - is the reason the last tirade of posts to and fro have been a total waste of bandwidth.I often catch the 6:30pm AKL flight from MEL and I can assure you the self service wines are rarely available in the time before that flight.
my point was, that at the beginning of this thread ,I stated that there was self serve, but most posters seemed unaware of this....I can only go by my experience and what was told to me by some one who works there. But it seems that if anyone else didn't see it, then it does't exist.....they will remove them when the last qantas (code share) flight leaves though ,even if there is another jetstar flight yet to leave. They may be put out "every single day" but there are definitely periods during the day where they are put away.

ok...here's the thing....have you ever been divorced, or known some one who has ?....2 stories is what you will get...his and hers...and yet according to you, both must be telling the whole truth ...go figure ? Same with the Palestinians and the Israelis ?...both versions are true according to your theory....but the real truth is actually somewhere in between.I'm sorry Blaz that you feel that people's experiences must somehow not be correct. I know the posts over the whole AFF site of those who've been denied and, you know, I believe their versions totally.

you will never get it....I know this because you twist everything that I say to suit your agenda, and I suspect that this is the reason that Qantas hasn't responded to you....a quick phone call is all it takes to sort these things out, but even I would be reluctant to respond to you...don't feel sorry for me as I am happily married (35 years) and have a happy life...and have never been kicked out of a Qantas lounge.Hi Blaz
I have known many divorced people
You seem like a very disturbed person that has experienced perhaps a horrid experience and I feel sorry for you. Just because you may have been screwed over does not mean everyone else is untrustworthy.
with your outlook on life and people I feel Great PITY and sorrow for you.
may you one day find peace
