NASCAR official and a Justice!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Marcum

DHL Fedex have been sending me notices to pick up my parcel at the local depot, I get them daily.

This is a new one today.

What is annoying is they know my full name although the don't know my middle name, thankfully.

Your case has been set for hearing/trial on 2nd April, 2016 at 11:00 AM o'clock. Your case is before Justice John Marcum .
You will find it most handy to park on the 011, 028. Magistrate John Marcum's courtroom is on the third floor.

  • 2 April oops I missed that one.

An Australia Post red logo and a little ditty: Your shipment has experienced a delivery exception and has been delivered to the Aus Post office.

I installed a spam fighter program on my computer on Monday and since then I have not had any scam or spam emails. I don't even get asked anymore if I want a f*ckbuddy tonight (whatever that is)

Yes just fill in my bank details and they will be kind enough to see no other payments are late.Such nice fellows.

So I arrive home this morning, turn on my phone and up pops an SMS-Hi dad it's Alison give me a call.
Do these fellows know more than me?:oops::lol:

My new spam fighter took this down just as I was about to have a high blood pressure session:

We've detected unusual activity. For your protection, we've disabled your account.

To try to regain access to your account, please visit our having trouble signing in page and select "I'm having other problems signing in."
Follow the steps and you'll be taken to our account recovery form, where we'll ask you some questions to help verify your identity.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and thank you for your cooperation.

I conclude that the suspicious activity is the inability to use pronouns in the English language correctly. Suck eggs, scammers!

Took me a while to spot the error. My brain must read what it wants to read

Probably because it was in capitals - so distracting. :)

Could also cross-post to the grammar thread about the use of "due to" as opposed to "owing to". I was eventually beaten into submission by my first History tutor at Uni on this (due to as in a debt due; owing to in consequence of say an act or omission).

It takes you to a dark place. On the email I received, it was a hyperlink that you wouldn't want to click

I suspect a really dark place ....

I have removed the suspicious link from the last few posts.

Can you add the email addresses to your blocked list. That usually does the trick but I have been receiving some spam recently that goes to Inbox.

The worst one is when you get spam and you are the sender. Can't block your own email address. Phishing spam is the only option.

Well I get spam email from my own address and the great majority go into the spam folder. Can only remember 1 or 2 getting to my inbox.
Spam folder gets deleted without opening unless I recognise one of my regular emails ending up there but always check with cursor to make sure it is coming from the right address.
