Thanks, great explanation as I too had no idea. I thought shellac was what you put on old timber furniture, when the term "French Polish" meant finishing timber furniture. Made from bits of beetles if I remember correctly.

Yes - I know what you mean - my father was a builder - so I grew up with those terms ! But here is french polished nails = :lol:

If only our politicians showed this much passion for their jobs. This would be a great country once again.
 
I now only buy my shoes from a shoemaker in Budapest who handcrafts each pair. I can never go back to off-the-rack now, except for RM Williams.

LOL MrsDrRon, just to prove I do have 10 fingers (thank goodness the staff at ANZ know me well, and strange requests to take a photo of my hands is just a normal request from me) FYI toes to be done Xmas eve, before heading down to Deniliquin for the break.
