Singapore QF/BA lounge new changes

It looks great, there probably isn't any other airline lounge in the world like it, which could be what QF were going for. It's the polar opposite to the EK lounges outside DXB, especially the one at SIN. If anyone has been to The Fifth at MBK in Bangkok, it looks like it's something similar to that. But from that last pic there seems to be passengers in there. Would they have done a soft opening yesterday or has it actually already opened?

It seems like with that layout there wouldn't be a separate area for F pax or P1's though. But I'm really looking forward to trying it out next month.

It is really good that this is a universal access lounge, we are all equal :)

That is the F lounge isn't it?

No. The old F lounge is now BA....QF have turned the old J lounge into this. One lounge for all.....maybe a section within for WP & above? Will have to wait & see - opens tomorrow.

Right. Forked out for J seats and strived to get platinum and no benefit in a good lounge. Enuf of this "all are equal" rubbish. Where's the fun in that?

If you're into the caramel you can always head over to the EK lounge.....IMO the QF lounge will be 10 times better!

We are currently putting the final touches on the new Qantas Singapore Lounge. I'm excited to confirm that The Qantas Singapore Lounge will now open on 11 April, offering a new standard of luxury for our customers travelling through Singapore

Customers will experience the best service currently offered by Sofitel at our flagship First lounges in Sydney and Melbourne, however it will be enhanced by a bespoke dining experience featuring Neil Perry’s Spice Temple inspired dishes and signature coughtails. It’s all part of giving customers a greater choice about when they dine, so they can maximise their sleep onboard.

Looking forward to hearing about your own personal experiences with the new lounge over the coming months. :D

Someone should tell the system that generates the QFF Paper Statements for WP's. I just got my statement for March and it has in the news box "The new QF Singapore lounge is now open!".

Perhaps it's just a time machine ;)

It's just the 'lounge'. No J/F separation. Which is great for QF pax as QF now only have J to SIN and BA/JL/MH/AY/CX J pax. Not so great for BA or CX pax in F.

Sorry - I meant the 'cook to order'
I guess that's a step up for 'normal' J lounge where it is buffet style

Even more reason for me to push to get to SG (don't worry I'll wear my shoes and sit quietly in the corner reading my book...)

Lounge is for gold, platinum, business and first class passengers. Even Qantas club, I think. Looks good, Internet speed is much faster though the lounge is not full as yet, but slowly filling up. That remains the acid test.

One would imagine this lounge will will be very busy most of the time. If there is no separate lounges for Platinum, business passengers. Think of all One Worlds, QF/EK and JQ passengers all in there at once. I can see the EK lounges are going to be popular also.
