Slow posting of QFF points and SCs after a JQ flight

Outbound flight points/SC have landed for Mrs AS and daughter...38 days later.

I submitted a missing points claim for myself to see if that sped things up a bit, but I have nothing yet. I should've just waited!

Just checked my daughter's account to see if inbound points have landed and instead they have disappeared.

I queried QF on social media and they say 6-8 weeks for JQ flights which completely contradicts their website.

I'm approaching waiting 6 weeks now. Based on current experiences, I'm expecting points and SC to post next week

Hi,
Has anyone gone through the Claim missing points on QF recently ? I flew on three JQ sectors on 4, 9 and 22nd of march, and none of them credited to QF. I subsequently submitted points claims for each of those on the 9th, 14th, and 27th of march respectively, i.e. 5 days after each flight, and so far have received nothing. I called the call centre , and they said they can see them in the system, but haven't got any responses from the "partner" airline, and was told, that in fact, partner claims can take 28 days to process.
I remember a few months ago, these points would post within a few days of submitting the claim.

Cheers
L

Exact same thing for me. November last year instant posting. April this year waiting two weeks now.

My flight from 30th March posted today.
So I'm expected flight from 2nd April to post next week.

This is getting ridiculous - I'm now over 6 weeks for one flight and over 4 weeks since the associated missing points claim.

Other JQ flights averaging 5+ weeks to credit. This is worse than any oneworld airline and it's the same company as Qantas. It's not good enough. It makes it worse that we are effectively paying for the points.

Just checked my daughters account activity.
I'd previously only looked at the total when logging in, then realised her anniversary date is end of April, so no SC would show there.

Outbound flight took 5.5 weeks to credit
Inbound flight took 6.5 weeks to credit

I'm still waiting on mine. Submitted a missing points claim 3 weeks ago. I think the lesson here is just wait and don't submit a claim for JQ flights.

Mrs AS just checked her account.

Both flights credited. However, because of the "website enhancement" it seems things have gone awry.
Her anniversary was end of March and last flight was 27 March, but her points activity are recording these latest SC as expired, because they were only credited a few days ago.

Seems like a phone call is in order.

Just noticed something in the QF app. If you go to "My QFF" and then the "Points" tab and scroll down, then click "Show more" and then scroll all the way to the bottom, it says:

"Allow up to 8 weeks for points earned on partner airlines blah blah......"

Conflicting info across QF content. You can find reference to 14 days for partner airlines, but also 8 weeks. Seems 8 weeks is the new timeframe.

Just had a proper look through Mrs AS points activity. Inbound/outbound flights were done in March.

Outbound credited correctly as 27 March. Inbound has been credited incorrectly as 29 April.

Didn't know QF did time travel?

So is that JQ telling QF these dates or did some data inputted at QF screw up? Or is it their database enhancement?

So after JQ had credited points and SC incorrectly (as per the points activity screen), this morning Mrs AS opened the app and sees she's Silver (which she should be).

Currently 15 SC away from attaining WP and flew a 20 SC leg on JQ this morning. Membership year ends in ~6 weeks. What's the verdict? Do I submit a missing points claim after 14 days or just wait?

7 weeks after submitting my claim, and two phone calls later, and I'm still waiting. I know for a fact that I'm eligible too because I purchased the bundle specifically so that I could earn SC. I'm owed about 75 SC.

That statement also includes "other programs partners", i.e. Qantas Mall, Kogan, etc. Up to 8 weeks is correct in that context.

Another case in point - partner and I flew together on the same booking 2 weeks ago but miles have been credited to his EK account only 2 days after the flight while I'm still waiting for my QF points and status credits...

Mine has finally posted on 19 May, exactly 6 weeks after the flight on 7 April...

My outbound flight points and SC landed.

Just over 8 weeks since actual flight and almost 4 weeks since putting in a missing points claim.

If I were you, email a copy of your boarding pass to [email protected] (along with your details).

Attaining or retaining? If retaining, this will definitely stop you being bumped back to Gold in the likely case it doesn't credit in time. If you are attaining - it may be enough for an instant upgrade (it's actually pretty unfair making you wait for WP privileges due to their shoddy IT).

Attaining :( Hoping to get some award inventory released as soon as I get bumped up too. I called to ask for QFF's advice and explained my motivation - they acknowledged some issues with Jetstar SC posting recently but said it was an issue on Jetstar's end and I'd need to wait the full 28 days required for partner airlines.

My JQ flight from OOL-PER on 27 March finally credited today, 8 weeks after the journey.

I made a missing points claim and sent a follow up email when I heard nothing 28 days later, which was not responded to. I don't think these actions made any difference as 8 weeks seems standard at the moment from what I'm reading here and on FlyerTalk.

I flew SYD-OOL on 13 May. It was international leg. I am on 1190 SCs and waiting on this flight to retain Platinun. With the expected delays of JQ flights posting I will more than likely drop to Gold which is not desirable as I am going to HKG for the weekend on 9-10 June.

P.S. I was smarter this time and kept the stub of the boarding pass before boarding just in case I needed proof. I played dumb but gate staff not happy and printed another boarding pass so they could keep the stub.
