Slow posting of QFF points and SCs after a JQ flight

Hi All, FYI

My various JQ flights have finally posted after QF sent of a request 4 days ago. Had nearly been 8 weeks.

Yes, Mrs AS JQ points and SC landed over 1 month after her anniversary but were credited to previous year and so she's PS for the first time.
Thanks AIsleSeat - Qantas just emailed a reply and confirmed it will be backdated as you also mentioned.
My JQ flights taken back on 11th April have been uploaded to my QFF activity with SC etc. Approx 44 days after actual flights - hoping this will be improved soon.

Don't hold your breath hoping for an improvement.................

Flew Jetstar 23 May, checked my QFF account today, 1000 points credited yesterday, description 23-May-2018.
No flight details, no status credits etc. Will sit out the six week waiting time and see what happens.

Currently 7 weeks and waiting for flight flown on 29th April. Tweeted Qantas last night and they say "it's normal for non Qantas flights to take 6-8 weeks to post".

My waiting time has just hit 8 weeks. I lodged a missing points claim a few weeks ago. I also sent them an email but I just got a generic reply that it will take 14-28 working days to process. Very disappointing.

Yes it is disappointing with the IT tech available today. If it’s any thing in their favour in happens real quick but anything for the passenger much much longer

They are really dragging out posting points and status credits to nearly the full 8 weeks.
Flight taken on April 29th posted today, 7 weeks and 4 days after flying, slack

Did you have a Qantas flight the same day?I think those 1,000 points were for a Uber promotion (1,000 points next Qantas flight..)

I received something similar dated 30/05/18. I believe this may have been part of another promotion ie. Woolworths change earning to QFF points or similiar.

I flew JQ on 22 May with Starter Plus bundle - no points credit yet: however, I had undertaken some UL flights around the same time which has not come through so I asked for JQ, UL to be updated in the same e-mail to the Frequent Flyer Centre.

Seems to be the normal with them dragging out the points now. All my flights this year with JQ in NZ domestic have taken the full 8 weeks to show up. I still have 4 flights taken on the first week of May and will be hitting the 8 weeks next week. Never used to be this long in the past (maybe 4 weeks if I remember).

My last few JQ flights have taken pretty much exactly 8 weeks to credit regardless of when I file the missing points claim. For example, today I just received my points and SCs for flights taken on 26 and 27 April.
I suspect JQ are deliberately waiting 8 weeks before buying the points from QF.

Has anyone else had issues with JQ crediting points and status to QFFF accounts? All my flights are taking at least 28 days before they appear and in one case it was over 6 weeks. I am 30 status away from holding Platinum and I have that exact amount still waiting to be credited. I have a QF flight coming up before my membership resets although I know for a friend of mine, he missed out on going to the first class lounge due to the delay of crediting status. Other one world airlines are usually there within 3 days.

The 20 SC I'm waiting for will get me to WP, and I plan to request a J award straight away.

By lodging a missing points claim I ended up getting my JQ SC in just over 3 weeks after flying. This seems to be the quickest possible way to get the SC so I thought it was worth sharing:

18 May - Flew
22 May - Called to lodge missing points claim. Rep said claims for partner airlines take 14 business days. I was actually expecting them to say 28 calendar days, so while they were on the phone we worked out when the 14 business days would be up (13 June) and made sure they noted this on the file.
13 June - Called up and explained situation, was asked to email copy of itinerary and boarding pass, wait for confirmation email with SR# and call back. Called back once I had the SR# (this took 8 hours) and the rep processed on the spot. Hung up, called back, successfully requested classic J award as a WP!

What would I have done differently in hindsight? Wouldn't have waited 4 days to lodge the claim, and would have sent itinerary and boarding pass the day prior.
