How fastidious are People with Car washing/cleaning

When I do it, I do it well…often with a wipe over with detailer after dry.
Hate washing wheels don't mind the rest of the process.
Swmbo has not washed her car in ten years,.. that is what car washes are for...

Does ceramic coating make any difference - reverse osmosis friend has ceramic coated car. Im told its easier to wash the car but that assumes that car washing is actually done...Cant see how it would make any difference if no car washing.

My friend with the mustangs is, me not so much, the Escort Cosworth and the RS Focus are both looking very sad at the moment. They both need a clean this weekend.
I have a brother with a lifelong obsession with the Cosworth. Sadly he never got to own one (yet, maybe after his motorcycle phase ends) so in his 20s he'd get regular Escorts and import the styling kits and paint them cossie blue. This was back in Norway in the early 2000s.

It's nice to see the cossie mentioned in australia, I rarely meet someone here who knows about them.

My truck had some fancy coating when sold but broinlaw (carpaintpro) says it's all a con to get more pos cash.

Nice bike @Buzzard.. I really miss my two wheels on these nice spring days..

I’ll post some more a bit later, there a few here, mostly earlier RS Sierras and a few of the special RS500’s. The Escorts are rarer, there were only 7,800 made and many have disappeared for various reasons.
We are off to NZ next week to catch up with friends that are looking after this for me, until I can get the importing stuff sorted out. It has been a tarmac rally car.

It’ not a Cosworth, but it is a Sierra XR4i 4x4. It does however have a wonderful Cosworth BOA engine, 2.9 litre, quad cam, 24 valve engine….

Why isn't Ford bringing it back?

Ford sold Cosworth in about 2004 when they were a bit cash strapped, also got rid of Volvo cars to the CCP at about the same time. They only owned Cosworth outright for a few years.
Cosworth has done engine work for other marques and has had quite a few different owners over the years.

A 2023 BMW 420i. Fantastic on nice days with the roof off , shopping trips and places where I don’t like the safety options I use a Suzuki LX4 and then we have a limo a 2003 Holden Statesman v8 5.2 litre , I do like a little power under the bonnet
